Went to see sunrise and catch some rock crab. Views of the sun rising over the city were beautiful, and the bridge is picturesque as ever. The wharf itself wasn’t busy until ~8 but quickly became quite packed.

Yes. There's a fairly large parking lot. But if you park there make sure that there is nothing that somebody can steal out of your car.
Shrimp is the best overall, but bits of chicken, mussel, and squid also work pretty well from my experience.

Yes 24 hour open but is not good for after sunset because that time there so many homeless stay there
I think it has to do with tides, visit and ask.
You can also park near the base of the bridge and walk back up. It's not very far.

Crabbing for Dungeness in Torpedo Wharf (inside Golden Gate Bridge) is illegal. But you can catch rock crab. Be careful.
