Make sure you have a peek (through glass door) inside the building behind yoda. Lucasfilms!!! Only employees are allowed to go in though.

Being just a short walk from the popular Palace of Fine Arts, the Lucasfilm HQ, Yoda Fountain, and surrounding gardens are a must-see for all lovers of everything Star Wars. Although not impressive in size or scale, the Yoda Fountain is still a niche and interesting destination for Star Wars fans to tick off their bucket list. Me and my friends had great fun.

When I first saw this mentioned on Google maps , I just thought it was another weird art installation in SF. I am glad I clicked to see what it actually is, and it was really cool to visit in person. The lobby is apparently not open to non-employees so some pick pics through the windows allowed me to have a little view of the treasures inside.

The cutest fountain I've ever seen. We stumbled across this building while biking and were so excited! The building was closed, but we peaked in and saw some great Star Wars memorabilia in the front lobby too.

If you go up to the security kiosk and let them know you are simply interested in seeing the fountain they will let you park for free short term.
No. There is a guard shack to the parking lot, we told him that we just wanted to see the fountain...and he said we could park free for up to 30 minutes. But we went on a Saturday, might be different if you go during the week.
