Expensive but worth it honey. After having these guys honey I now cant ever take the stuff in the grocery stores seriously. Would recommend buying at least once from here so you can know what real honey tastes like

I came to the honey exchange for to do their “hour with a beekeeper”— basically an in depth, hands-on lesson about bees. Phil taught us SO MUCH about bees, showed us many different hives, let us hold a frame full of bees! At end of it, they set up a honey tasting for us to really get a sense of the subtle differences in taste. Meghan even threw in a little birthday gift from the gift shop! Learned so much and had a great time. The “hour with a beekeeper” would make an excellent gift for any aspiring beekeeper in your life.

All things bees and honey! My go to for local, raw unfiltered honey. But don't stop there! Mead, wine, home goods, jewelry & bee keeping supplies. Shop owners are incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming and friendly.

We sell 8 and 10 frame Langstroth hives. We do sell insulating wraps in the fall.

We have a solitary bee house and were going to install it near a community garden. Now there is talk of having a honey bee hive in the area. Would there be any issues with that?

It shouldn't be a problem. The two species generally ignore each other.

We can arrange for curbside pickup via telephone or from our website. Customers who wish to browse the store are required to wear facemasks over their mouth and nose and we only allow two customers in the store at one time. Staff wear masks and sanitize surfaces and hands after each customer contact.

Is there actual raw honeycomb in a box?

Hadley Mullen | Aug 21, 2019
The Honey Exchange | Aug 20, 2021

Yes. We generally try to keep it in stock but it can be difficult to find in some seasons. It's best to phone the shop to double check before you make a trip.

Do you carry honeycomb for purchase?

The Honey Exchange | Aug 20, 2021

Yes. Because comb honey is becoming hard to acquire it is best to phone the shop to make sure we have it on the shelf of a given day.
