THIS PLACE SCAMS YOU. If possible I would give this place any star ratings Upon check-in I was told they didn’t have my car and had given it to someone else. I was nice and was about to take the next car available only to learn from a different worker that the car isn’t in good conditions and wasn’t supposed to be out for rental due to safety because the engine was failing! After learning that they were willing to put me in a vehicle that was faulty I asked for a refund since they didn’t have anymore cars in my range. They tried to upgrade me and charge me for a bigger car and became very hostile and vulgar. When the worker started to raise his voice the other workers chimed in. It was a horrible experience and I have never had any problems renting cars from other places. This place is just not organized and are very rude when they can’t solve the issue. I immediately called their office only to be met with no one picking up. I’m glad I worked through a company for my booking because I wouldn’t have gotten my money back if it wasn’t for the agency I booked the car with. I would suggest going with another place because here you only have disorganization and rude workers.

The people at Fox are straight up SCAM ARTISTS and CROOKS. We rented our car from the Burbank Airport location in California. As we were verbally walking through the contract with Tyson (the customer service rep), we asked how much the extra day charge would be and were told it was $25.00 per day. After his verbal walk through of the contract, he input a different per day charge onto the paper contract before we signed. When we returned the car, we were charge nearly $65.00 for the extra day. We spoke to Tyson, who happened to be there when we returned the car and questioned why he gave us one price on the verbal contract walkthrough and then input something else in the written contract. We then requested to speak to a manager to whom Tyson admitted he quoted a $25.00 per day charge (who we later found out after calling the corporate number they gave us, which was really customer service, that the gentleman was not even a manager but just posing as one, which is why he didn't give us his name). We were then told by this fake manager that technically they did not lie because the late charge is $25.00, however they intentionally failed to tell us that we would be charged an additional $40.00 a day on top of the $25.00 a day charge, when our specific question was how much would the extra day charge be. In speaking with customer service, there is no manager available to speak to right away and you have to wait days for them to call you back. Also, we were then told to go back to Burbank and speak to the district or regional manager (which we tried to do before we left). The customer service staff is not knowledgeable and can only quote to you canned phrases over and over on the phone instead of answering the questions you are asking. Now we fully understand that when you sign a contract it is binding, however, to verbally go through the contract and intentionally defraud customers out of money by stating one thing and then inputting something else in the contract is wrong. It is the purposeful intent to defraud which makes this company SHADY and SEEDY. STAY FAR AWAY. This is our second visit with Fox and the first one we had to wait hours to get a car because they overbooked and didn't have our prepaid car. We will not be using Fox a third and suggest you pay more and go with a more reputable and upstanding company.

Overall my experience was good. We got our car and it was a easy check in check out. However, be careful!! They tell you to lock in the gas rate and pre-pay for a full tank of gas. We were told if we come back with 1/2 tank, 3/4 tank we would then be credited back for that unused gas. We brought our car back with 3/4 tank of gas. The checkout guy again told us it would reflect the credit on our bill. It didn’t and we were charged the full tank. After calling they said prepaid fuel is never refundable. Again, not at all what we were told when picking the car up. Luckily, they ended up refunding that money after speaking to a couple different people. Just be cautious as their seems to be mixed information given on this and I’m just lucky I caught it.

Not only was my reservation changed from where I would drop off, but they refused to help me with that situation. They accepted my car and charged me $200 instead of $97. Would of been nice to have been told that I was at the wrong airport (which I shouldn’t of been) but irregardless, would’ve been nice instead of receiving my receipt via email and wondering why my rental nearly doubled in price. Never using this company again and will make sure anyone I know doesn’t either. I should’ve known with how terrible the ratings are as is, but where we are. Absolutely terrible service.

They dont have customers parking but their is around the airport for leaving a car

I can tell you right now I have some problems with this Rent-a-Car company they overcharged me. They finally straightened out the bill for me but I hate to have to babysit every time I do a transaction. Even though they had the best prices I will never deal with them again

be on time and not be late ion going to work. follow all rules as instructed. wear the right uniform every time i go to work. take breaks only as it reguires.
