My rating for Avis is mainly because every time I wind up in one of their vehicles, it's absolutely disgusting inside. I fly into Burbank about every 6 weeks. Even though I book my reservation through Budget, I get sent to the Avis booth and put in their cars, at least the past several times. Yesterday I got in my first car - it was covered in dust, grime, fingerprints, stains, and smelled funky. I went to the counter and said something and they offered me another Tacoma. I check it out, it's marginally better but doesn't have the odor so I accept it. After cleaning it up a bit with alcohol wipes, I turn on the ignition - the tank is half full and tires have low pressure. I get out and go back to the counter. They put me in a small SUV in Budget's fleet. I get in and it's immaculate. Exactly how a rental should be every time you get in...like some sort of noticable effort had been made to clean it inside and out. Not like you're sitting in other people's nastiness that has built up over who knows how long. Now I have a billing error to deal with, but at least the vehicle was on point - 3rd times a charm. Really kind employees at Avis, at least at the customer service booth. Friendly, willing to help.

This review is 1 star due to the car condition and the price. But first, let me give you some context. My fiance and I flew into Burbank with a reservation with Thrifty and upon arrival learned that us along with many others were SOL with no cars available. So we went desk to desk in desperate hopes for a car to be available. The AVIS reps were very nice and informed us they had a luxury car (Tesla) and a sports car (Camaro) available for $275.00 a day. We agreed as we needed a car to get to our daughters race beginning shortly about 15 miles away. After the paperwork was handled we then went upstairs to check on the car. We arrived to a car which had not been cleaned inside or out. Spiders had begun to make homes on it so we had to kill a few before we could make our way to the interior. Once we opened the doors, to our surprise the interior was filthy, stained and no way was ever sanitized for the next guests. With limited time and options we had to accept the car to make it to our appointment. Once we began driving we realized that even the inside of the windshield was covered in dirt/marks. After our appointment we had the car cleaned so we could safely see out of the windshield. All in all, we were happy we made it to our daughters race. But for $300.00 to be given a base model v6 Camaro (on Turo they rent for 60-80.00 a day) is ridiculous. This is as far as Ill go with Avis, as we now know their idea of a luxury experience is not at all what we consider luxury. A lesson learned and a customer lost.

Worst rental experience ever. Reserved two cars a month in advance. Neither type of car was available. Waited a long time to get cars. One car got a flat tire in a parking lot within a few hours of the six day trip. I was sent to another Avis location to pickup a replacement and was told they wouldn’t be able to honor it. So we ended up short a vehicle. Our travel plans changed and we returned the one car several days early. Avis refused to refund the money from the car we didn’t get, or the one we returned early. Absolutely terrible.

I had a reservation with another company and they decline my reservation because I didn’t have my social security number with me! I came to Avis quite desperate for a car and the staff was really helpful and within 15min I was driving a cool mustang back to San Diego. Thank you! I would definitely recommend them.

Avis doesnt offer parking for your personal car. But there is onsite parking at Burbank airport to use.
At the airport but a long walk away from terminal
It's a little ways but yes you can.
The shuttle bus will drop you to your terminal of choice. If you can't walk, should you be driving a hire car?
Ring and ask them? Better chance of a definitive answer IMHO.
