Nice big space, very clean restrooms, ample parking. Unique and fun experience, can't wait to book again!

Reserved a site here to camp. When we set up our tent we realized there was no park ranger or anything so we packed up our tent just to be safe since a homeless man walked through the park. Unfortunately we weren't able to stay because our vehicle was broken into down by the pier. Hopefully one day we can have a safe and fun trip back and enjoy the campsite!

Rob Hill Campground and its immediate vicinity is one of the most beautiful and serene areas within San Francisco. The loop walk, the fire circle, the views of the Pacific, fresh air (when the wind is blowing off of the ocean), and a varied flora and fauna scene make this a place to be.

Its well organized and beauty place to camp , we really enjoyed it , but April rain was the reason we could not stay any longer . But 125$ cost is not worth it for small group of people , also parking area messy for 12-16

Dor general public queries about Rob Hill your best bet is to contact the Presidio Trust. Youth groups have priority reservations through the Crissy Field Center - geneeal public should call The Presidio Trust to reserve campground there - perfect for family camping!

Yes, you must have a reservation through recreation.gov
Come on bro. Asking if a San Francisco campground is gay friendly is like asking if it's cold in Alaska. 😉
Yes, but you need to reserve a site. There are only two public places, and they are for larger groups (although you can book with less).
Only by reservation
Actually it's more like two miles away. Maybe not even that far. You can walk from one side of the city to the other in an hour or so anyway.
Nope. No R.V. camping permitted.
Don't know our 4th grade class went on a one night trip sponsored by the School District. Do recommend you camping there it's a fantastic campground within walking distance to the Gold Gate bridge.
No. Fees and reservations are required. See https://www.presidio.gov/lodging/rob-hill-campground
It isn't free, but it is reasonable. make reservations through their web site.
$125 per site
No. There is no R.V. camping at this site at all.
They dont allow RV camping 😖
No. It"s not that type of campground. There's parking nearby the campground but the area for accommodations is tents only - no vehicles allowed by the actual campground & RV's are kinda big for their limited parking area anyway. Leave your RV at home!
There's a long parking lot with maybe 20 perpendicular parking spots, a set of steps and then a long undesignated area. There might be room for a schoolbus, but you'd have to ask permission.
