Flew business class, company was paying. For the price, I was expecting at least a decent meal. Alas, not anymore - the need to squeeze the last few dollars in profit greatly overcomes good service. Flight attendants were nice and courteous, though.

Worst airline ever. I flew several times with United airlines and had the worst experience. They keep terrorising me about the mask. They woke me up from my sleep and put a flashlight in my face to see if the mask is worn appropriately. They told me I have to wear a double mask!! No leg room in long flights. Flight attendant is extremely rude.

If I could do zero I would. Horrible airline. They keep messing up flights. Delays without explanation. Bad customer service. Everything you can imagine. Why they’re in business who knows. Avoid at all cost!!! I’m writing this as I am stuck once again in San Francisco. For what will be my 5th hour. A 9pm flight keeps being delayed. There aren’t any more flight out of the airport. Who knows if we’ll be sleeping here. But my hunch is yes sir them to avoid giving us a hotel or transportation. I was going to schedule another flight but they all left and a basic flight the next day on a different airline is extremely high. It’s like they know United is effing up, so prices get ridiculous crazy so you get sucked into buying it. I’m glad I’m remote working but people with kids are having a horrible time. Just forget about using mikes from their credit card. Both worth the effort.

My wife and I are booked to fly on United in the near future, out of SanFrancisco. This is not our first time flying with them. My wife just contacted their customer service department. She had questions about our schedule, baggage and Covid protocol. I listened as this agent patiently explained all these details more than once in a very understanding manner. I want to thank United for going way beyond our expectations for service and going that extra mile for your customers. We feel safe flying with an Airline that has an unmatched commitment to be the best. United Airlines, in their words, is about connecting people and uniting the world.

Questions & Answers

Is there a number to actually contact United at SFO? Being routed through the whole company phone is terribly annoying.

Is this terminal for domestic departures for united airlines?

Terminal 3 is for United Airlines flights only. Doors 1-7 are for priority and first class boarding. Door 9 and above are for regular boarding passes. Though this terminal mainly caters to domestic flights, it also does international too so I suggest you check before you get dropped off.

Call and book standby. Then wait at boarding and hope someone is late. 😁

How much time would I need to get from Terminal 3 (united flight 5640) to the international terminal, area G?

Depending on how far the gates are it can take anywhere from 5 to 20 with no stops it's all walking distance you just take a little hallway and go up the escalators and you're at the international, the hallway is next to f1
