The Landing Current River

Had a wonderful stay with a great nights rest. The view is wonderful from the deck onto the Current River. Really enjoyed the Adirondack chairs for sunset and again at sunrise. Wishing you well as you rebuild from the resent fire.

The owners no longer care. We paid in advance and booked for one raft and three tubes. We got there at 10 am and checked in and we had to wait almost 3 hours in the heat because they messed something up they said at the shack below. There was no apology or anything. Then they did not give us life jackets because they said they were out basically so one of our kids nearly drowned. They are totally careless and negligent now. We have used them in past years and they were great. They don’t respond to any emails or complaints.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! When we arrived we signed up to float on tubes. The wait was only about 15 minutes. Afterward, we went to our nice clean room to clean up, and then had dinner at the restaurant on the premises. The service was great, the food was good. Back to our room where we slept so good!! We will definitely be going back there!

If you stay at The Landing the rooms are really nice . When your ready to go on your float trip just check in at the River Store pick up the machine rent what your plan on falling in and go down to the gravel bar turn your name in to the attendant down there in the booth and be ready to float on your name is called. You might go up in a bus with a bunch of folks or van which is a few folks either way that get you there safely and help you get put into the water. Great people to work with a certainly know what they're doing there.
