I was in a pretty serious accident last January... I was referred to John Anderson and was extremely pleased with his zealous dedication and professionalism! He quickly got me help for my injuries (both physical and emotional), made sure my insurance replaced my totaled car and worked to get me a good settlement. His communication was on point, detail and patient. I could not be more pleased! Thank you John!

I had a slip and fall accident that ended up with a broken wrist. I called Robert at Beckerman Anderson and he was great through out the whole process. He kept me updated the whole time. We were able to settle within a year of my accident. Very happy over all. I really recommend Beckerman Anderson .

I got into a car accident back in February of 2020 and I decided to go to Beckerman Anderson, APC. John Anderson took my case and went about it I would say perfectly. I didn’t even have to go in and talk to them he was able to handle everything via call and text. Which was very convenient. I am beyond happy with my settlement and his law office. If you ever need an injury lawyer I would highly recommend them!

Questions & Answers

Do you have to pay upfront for personal injury cases?

Martin Canchola | Aug 23, 2018
Robert Beckerman | Aug 23, 2018

Hi Martin, When we accept a case from an injured client, there is no fee unless we win. The client does not need to pay us anything up front.

I was in a hit and run, what should I do?

Martin Canchola | Aug 22, 2020
Car Accident Lawyer - Beckerman Anderson, APC | Aug 22, 2020

You should immediately report the accident to the police and then follow up with your insurance company. If you have Uninsured Motorist coverage on your own policy, your damages will be covered by it up to your available limits. However, in cases of hit and run, the law says the accident must be reported to the police within 24 hours of the accident and to your insurance company within 30 days.

What is Med Pay?

Car Accident Lawyer - Beckerman Anderson, APC | Aug 22, 2020

Med Pay is short for Medical Payments and is a type of coverage that pays for out of pocket medical expenses incurred as a result of an accident. For auto accidents, it would be coverage a person purchased on their own auto insurance policy, most commonly with a limit of $1,000, $2,000 or $5,000. It also can sometimes be available for guests that are injured on someone's property, whether it be a private residence or a store or other commercial place. Whenever a person is injured, it is important to look for all potential sources of recovery and Med Pay is one of them.

What is UM/UIM insurance?

Martin Canchola | Aug 22, 2020
Car Accident Lawyer - Beckerman Anderson, APC | Aug 22, 2020

UM/UIM stands for Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist insurance. This coverage is found on your own insurance policy and provides protection for yourself and your passengers in the event you suffer a personal injury in an auto accident which is caused by someone driving either without insurance or with a low limit insurance policy. The coverage also protects you if you are involved in a hit-and-run accident. California law requires that all auto policies issued in the state come with UM/UIM coverage unless the policyholder signs a waiver rejecting it.

What if the driver that hit me doesn't have insurance?

Martin Canchola | Aug 22, 2020
Car Accident Lawyer - Beckerman Anderson, APC | Aug 22, 2020

California law requires auto insurance policies to include Uninsured Motorist coverage in every policy unless the policyholder waives the coverage in writing. Uninsured Motorist coverage is designed to protect you in the event that you are injured by a driver who does not have insurance. If you want to set up a consultation, we can go over the specifics of your case and explain the process in more detail.
