My stay at Apex Recovery was quite good. If you need a place to get your mind right and recuperate without the stresses of life, I can't recommend it enough. There is a chef that makes meals twice a day and a gym if you are interested in getting exercise. The staff is caring and accommodating. Overall, it's a wonderful facility.

My experience at Apex has been wonderful. From the first second I stepped in I felt welcomed with open arms. The staff is amazing and the people you meet make you feel like family. You won’t feel judged here. I’d recommend to everyone.

Overall, staff is very helpful and supportive here, which made my detox pleasant - especially Kelly, Shelby, Kim, Nicki, and Laura. However, the rules are more stringent than previous places where I have detoxed and the houses/amenities are not as nice as other places I have detoxed at in San Diego. Also, you cannot make phone calls during detox and there are no tv’s in the bedrooms which is very different than other facilities I have detoxed at. Lastly, I had to switch rooms 4 times within 6 days which was kind of inconvenient. There were also a lot of AMA’s during my stay here which made me uncomfortable, so there is definitely room for improvement in some areas.

Making the choice to go into recovery is never easy and choosing the right facility plays a huge part in your ultimate success. I couldn't give a higher recommendation to Apex. The property is top notch and extremely comfortable, but more importantly is the staff that takes care of you. They pay attention to details and really care. They are also incredibly fun to be around which makes the experience that much better. If your thinking about recovery Apex should be your first choice. If they had 10 stars I'd give them that rating. Highly recommend.

We are actively looking into ways to work with Medi-Cal. Curently, we do not accept State funded insurance, but we do offer scholarship options and financing. We realy try and work with everyone and if finances are such that we can not admit, we do work with everyone at no cost to provide referrals.

does your facility allow suboxone or methadone PTs

Yes we do! Methadone is a tricky medication and we need to verify that new admissions are on a dose that can be properly detoxed. Please call us and our specialists will educate you and provide and services you need!

No we do not accept MediCal or MediCare at this time. We do accept Blue Cross, Cigna, and most all PPO insurance. Feel free to call us for referrals and we will assist you getting help!

Are you accepting medi-cal yet?

Unfortunately we do not accept Medi-Cal. California regulations and rates of pay make it almost impossible to work with them. We are happy to provide you referrals or discuss payment options. Are goal is to see everyone get care even if it is not with us.

We are looking to place my father at your facility. He has Kaiser in Medi-Cal and I understand you do not except that. How much would it be for him to go in the program if we paid out-of-pocket.

We have all kinds of options that range from very little, to more costly. It largely has to do with the amount of Inpatient days that are clinically needed. We are much more affordable than most up-scale facilities and our program is the best. We have options so please reach out talk with our intake department and they can guide you. One more thing, if we are not the right fit, our staff will make sure we get you help to find the right spot for your father. Thanks so much for considering us. We will work hard to help you and your family. Best, APEX Recovery

Apex currently accepts most PPO insurance policies. Apex will be in-network soon with Cigna! We also have great financing and payment plan options, as we want everyone who needs help to get it!

Donelle, We are in process of adding an evening IOP and are working on our Tricare contract. I wish we had both now, but it’s still a few months away. Please call us and we will always help with referrals free of charge. Great job on reaching out for help. Apex Recovery

While APEX is not "officially" court approved, out clinicians and doctors are very familiar with working with attorneys, judges, and the legal system to help our clientle withamy deferred sentence options. We are well versed and understanding of the complexities in navigating the legal system when it comes to DUIs, possession arrests, and family court cases.
