I ordered from University Kitchen today because I haven't eaten from there in a while. I ordered two separate meals and both were far from satisfying. I ordered the lasagna. The lasagne was too salty. It was unbearable to eat without eating the bread to cut the salt. The second dinner is was the liver dinner. It was described as lightly fried; however, it was fried very hard. I did not return to the restaurant and it won't happen any time soon. I would have given a 1 and one half stars if possible.

Even though they were packed, we were seated fairly quickly. Our waitress was awesome and the food was excellent. They have fried squash and it was fantastic. First time here and I will be back

Should open soon!!! I will still enjoy HP location, even though Thomasville will be closer. Atmosphere is AWESOME!!!!!
At my family's last visit (a month or so pre-covid outbreak), I was not favorably impressed by the cleanliness of the restaurant. My wife became very sick after eating there. She stated her salad and or dressing did not taste right. Coincidence that she got sick later that night? We think not.
