Beautiful place to take a walk or sit on a bench by the river reading my Bible. I love seeing the ducks snd the turtles on the pond and watching the leaved turn during the Fall. Just a beautiful park altogether

This is a great little park to take the kids, especially if they want to see turtles. I lost track of how many turtles we saw. I wish I had my good camera for better pictures. We walked the bridge over the Rogue River. That was a beautiful view. We played at the playground and tried fishing. Didn't see anyone actually catch a fish but my son did land a big bullfrog that ate his bait.

One of my favorite places to go. Can feed the birds, the children can play on the playground, there's plenty of public restrooms, trails and picnic tables with coverings. Plenty of parking and space. I think you can even go fishing 🎣 Lots to do at this park! Baseball, horseshoe, volleyball, basketball courts. It's amazing and there's always friendly people there.

This park is the best in Grants Pass. It has everything you could want in a 5 star park. Tons of trails, basketball, volleyball, baseball, artificial turff soccer field. Riverside hiking trails. A really cool bride over the Rogue River. The best place to play Pokemon GO as well. Lots of covered and uncovered places for a picnic and BBQ pits. Plenty of handicap parking also. BEST PARK IN GRANTS PASS!

Not too sure I was thinking April/may.
Scott, thank you for commenting.. not crape myrtle... i am familiar with that scrub/tree.. I tried to add photo but can’t seem to on this site. The “berries” almost hung like grapes but were shaped more like blueberries!!! It was along the river trail just west? of the beautiful water feature that almost looks like petrified wood, seeping water....I have photos:)Downloaded App(great by the way) - American Pokeweed!!! solved!
An osprey, for years one nested on the platform, just this year the new one was built
Take M street which will turn onto Bridge Street, take a left on Lincoln and you will run right into the park. M street turns into Bridge street..you can also Take G street and turn on Lincoln and Lincoln will take you there.
Just trout as far as i know.
Call the city parks department , should be under 50.00 for the day
I've never fished there but there are several decks on the water and a newer one that has a railing if you have littles ones that you are worried about falling in.
Check the Oregon state park website for park information or just call the park and ask a ranger.
