This was a really nice place for a hotel restaurant. Excellent dirty martinis and strawberry mojitos. We were lead astray by the salmon cakes, though, as the video for the restaurant pictured two, and we only got one...and it was $14. Granted it was a large salmon cake, but still, that's a tad high for less than 4 ounces of salmon. The dinner rolls were not fresh and kind of hard and the attempt at making the butter presented as upscale was a big miss when we tasted the lavender sprinkled on top. Not sure if salted lavender is a thing? The saving grace was the paradise salad. It was enormous for $10, fed both of us plenty with some to take back for lunch the next day. Not sure we'll be back, but our server was quite sweet and did an excellent job.

The food was good, but the service was lackluster. When we walked in, the waitress rolled her eyes and then waited several minutes before coming over to seat us. She never stopped by to check on our food after it was delivered. Then proceeded to drop off the bill when we were barely half way through our breakfast, and didn't even land a pen for me to sign the credit card slip. I had to ask another waitress to borrow a pen. I would understand a little more if they had been busy, but there were only 3 tables dining (including us).

Thought we’d brighten a gloomy day with a nice lunch at Caroline’s… we hadn’t been there in quite some time. … The restaurant was far from overly busy, but took a good 10 minutes of waiting for someone to appear and seat us…at a rather dirty, nicked up table. We ordered fish tacos and a chicken wrap. The chicken wrap appeared but the fish taco order got screwed up and fish and chips arrived instead. The waitress took it back and while we waited for the fish tacos to materialize my wrap was cold before it showed up. Who wants to eat alone on a lunch date? The hostess apologized and “threw her fellow waitress under the bus” for the order mistake. Another nice touch. Finally eating, the food was a horrible disappointment! We both tried one of the fish tacos and left the rest sit - what a waste of time and energy that was. Tasted like nothing. Chicken wrap had no taste either- left most of that sit too. Shared our disappointment politely with the waitress and her excuse for the 3rd time was that they were short staffed. …. So did that mean that the janitor made our lunch?? We’d had breakfast there before and it was good, but Caroline’s won’t ever be on our short list again. Is anyone on staff actually tasting the food there as a mystery customer? They might want to.

Service was good and the food was too! Sunday morning and we were able to be seated promptly. Friendly waitress (Jen) and efficient! Thanks for a great breakfast!

The staff are all wearing mask & visiters wear mask. The booths have very high backs that separate tables a lot. And from what I saw they didn't seat groups back to back.
Doing prime rib all day breakfast and lunch also somthing to do with old fashions
No Sunday brunch
