visiting there this morning, can someone tell me what the gorgeous plant is that has Magenta stems with clusters of purple to green “berry” looking fruit? It is a tall bush with leaves similar in shape and color to Poinsettias.... thank you!

Scott, thank you for commenting.. not crape myrtle... i am familiar with that scrub/tree.. I tried to add photo but can’t seem to on this site. The “berries” almost hung like grapes but were shaped more like blueberries!!! It was along the river trail just west? of the beautiful water feature that almost looks like petrified wood, seeping water....I have photos:)Downloaded App(great by the way) - American Pokeweed!!! solved!

I'm scanning my brain trying to remember what I have seen down there. I almost said Crape Myrtle... but, that would not have Poinsettia type leaves. If you have the ability to get back down there soon, there is an app called Pl@ntNet (free app) that will allow you to take photos of different plants/trees/shrubs... and then it will search a data base and come up with a group of close matches. Really cool app! Free. Safe. Fun!
