My son and I had a lot of fun yesterday. Great place to spend about 3-4 hours or so. We bought 2 buckets and sparingly gave the animals food. They eat very well. Some will reach in to the car for the bucket! Will definitely return.

It was our first time being there and we all had a great time. The prices in comparison to other safari are high, they should charge for the cars instead they charge how many people are sitting in the car. The best part of this Safari was The Budgie Adventure Aviary, where Budgie are open and you go inside and feed them, also they have Hens there. Over All a good place to bring kids.

One of the most amazing places in VA. The animals looked so happy and many species had off springs. The Safari park also help conserve a number of endangered animals from around the world. Friendly staff with picnic area and a cafeteria makes the park a hub for families and groups of all kinds. It’s a pleasure to come here every time. 👍 The little baby camel made my day!!

We had so much fun here! The entrance wasn’t particularly well marked. There was a small sign that I didn’t catch when I came off the highway. Once you’re in the right place, it’s very well organized, clean and plenty of space. Clear instructions on how to safely enjoy the animals. We came in May so there we lots of babies around. Be sure to purchase some food. Animals looked well cared for so I had no problem paying the costs to enjoy the day. There is zoo too. We spent about 2 hours there. Great experience. Thank you

Do you purchase tickets ahead of time or at the gate when you arrive

For weekend you must purchase online (check Facebook page and website for updates). Weekday you can do either. Food buckets (max 4 per car) and penguin encounter can only be bought at gate. If you plan to visit two days in a row may I suggest membership, about $5 more. I didn't see until later. We went two days in a row instead of to the zoo. So much to see and so much walking. The animals are so docile. The little yaks actually come when called like a puppy. We can't wait to go again!
