Honestly this is the best place to live in Tucson. Modern, clean and Maintainence on time and very professional staff members. I am writing what I saw and it is very likely to come back to rent again in next August 🌷🌷🌷

I lived at Pima Canyon for 1 year. It was a great experience. The facilities are well-maintained and higher-quality than the other apartment complexes that I personally have seen in Tucson. The neighborhood is quiet, outside the center of the city, but downtown Tucson is still easily accessible. The apartment I had was spacious and modern. It stayed cool in the summers without running the AC all day. The rent is more expensive than other apartment complexes in Tucson so I would recommend Pima Canyon to anyone looking for higher-end housing.

Coming from a large city to Tucson while my spouse completes her doctor of veterinary medicine program, I was pretty disappointed in Tucson’s version of “luxury apartments”. I don’t know how to describe the differences other than large cities having beautiful high rises with views, top of the line amenities, and lots of walkability. I don’t say this as a knock to Tucson. This type and size of city is just completely new for us. Since our stay here in only temporary and we own a home back in Colorado, we decided to rent and came across Pima Canyon Apartments. Of all the apartments we looked at, they are definitely the best that we could find. They offer large floor plans that kept us from having to sell a lot of our things since we did move from a house. The balconies in the two and three bedrooms are my favorite part (my dog and cat’s favorite part, as well!). We have had very few issues requiring maintenance to be called, but when we did, the crew was fast, attentive, and very friendly. They always chat with me or at least wave when they see me around the property. We have had zero issues with noise. There are a lot of pets at this property, but myself and my neighbors seem to place a lot of effort into making sure they are not bothering other residents with excessive noise. The pool is always clean and inviting. The gym is very nice for an apartment gym and has most things you would need to get in a good workout (stair climber, treadmills, elliptical, free weights, actual barbell and bench-not a smith machine-, and a lot of weight machines). The grounds are always kept maintained and beautiful. Top notch landscapers! We’ve never had an issue with package theft or vehicle break-ins, as others have reported. That is just our experience, though, and we are extremely careful due to neighbors warning us. The leasing staff plans a lot of events with free food and also allows food trucks to park within the property occasionally. We really love this since there is not much to safely walk to from the complex. I honestly don’t have many negative things to say about the grounds themselves. I do disagree with their “mass punishment” of all residents due to the behavior of some. Awhile back there were issues with residents bringing glass by the pool and making a mess so they shut it down for weeks. Just this last Saturday, though, we watched a van full of kids jump the pool fence late at night to swim. So, I sometimes wonder if it is even the residents causing the issues. Anyways, we all pay a lot to live here and we shouldn’t all be banned from an amenity just because others can’t respect the property. We have heard from other residents that they have received lease renewal rates that are a lot more expensive year over year. This is disappointing considering the state of the world and it is forcing good tenants out. At the end of the day, though, they are a business. We plan to stay unless the rate hike is too extreme. Hoping that this can be our home for the entirety of our stay here in Tucson.

Three years ago I was looking for an apartment, to return to Tucson after retiring from a career and being away for nine years. Being very familiar with Tucson, the northwest part of town has always been a desirable place to live, just outside of the city grid with spectacular mountain views, but still accessible to the U of A and downtown, and being on the Sun Tran bus line a being big plus. The Pima Canyon Apartment amenities, large rooms with 10 foot ceilings and huge balcony sold me on these apartments. The big gym and modern clubhouse, with periodic community events with food trucks or a farmers market are also very inviting. And the location is ideal for shopping and entertainment. I visited a few times on trips back to Tucson and was sure this is where I wanted to live, and my search was over. However, due to unforeseen reasons, my relocation was sadly delayed. My news was received sincerely, and the line of communication with the property manager remained open and receptive for 3 years. Finally, the time was right for me to relocate from Florida, to come back home to Tucson. I was quite welcomed by the entire Pima Canyon crew. During the move-in process, the property manager's team were most polite, professional, and most of all personable. Staff worked as a team to iron out a new system administrative computer wrinkle, always with an open door, and, having a good result. And, minor maintenance items were addressed immediately, or the next day, again, the maintenance team being most polite, professional and friendly, also showing me how to operate my "new modern" appliances, as well as offering a few tips that are most helpful. After moving in, my apartment has turned out to be much more than I had expected. In addition to some fresh painted accent walls, it was very clean, as expected, and is in a very friendly and quiet community. The building architecture, inside and out, is very old pueblo Tucson. With all units being corner units, they are very private, and are kind of like your own house. The balcony being so big, it's like your own little back yard, except I don't have to pull weeds. :) I'm so happy to live here and feel right at home. I feel I'm in good hands with the management team and I sure don't miss being a homeowner (for 25 years) with all the maintenance responsibilities, at all. "Thank you so much" to the entire Pima Canyon Team, it is truly my pleasure to live here.
