Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a resort. They compare countless booking websites and usually will have rooms much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of my favorites in the area. I have been coming here for years. If you stay for a few nights you definitely will love it I'm sure! Wentworth by the Sea is one of the most amazing and peaceful places I've been to, and there's many genuinely friendly people and staff here.

Stayed for 3 nights and had a fantastic time. The front desk, staff at the pool, everyone seemed to go out of their way to make you feel important. I was never more relaxed in I don’t know how long. You walk 100 yards down the driveway and you witness a sunset worth a million dollars. Yes it is pricey, but was well worth the outcome

Prior to our recent stay at the Wentworth by the Sea, I read up on the reviews listed on this page. I was very weary of my booking after looking at all the negative comments but kept our reservation in hopes that our opinion would be different than those. Well, it was wonderful. The hotel, the restaurant, the staff, everything was fantastic. My husband and I spent two nights in a water view king suite which looked out over the marina on either side. The heated floors in the bathroom were just an added perk to an already lovely room. We ate at Salt and the food was magnificent. The lobster bisque, while pricey, is an experience all should try. Could we afford to stay there during peak season? Definitely not. Is this hotel in need of some cosmetic touchups? Sure. But would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to getaway for a few nights. We will definitely be back!

It's really a shame that I even had to write this review. Recently we booked three nights at the hotel to try to enjoy our first stay away from home after the birth our daughter in December. We have stayed at the Wentworth by the Sea Hotel six times this year and each stay has progressively been worse. We choose to return this time thinking it was off season and maybe service would have improved. However we were wrong. Highlights of this stay include a kitchen filled with mouse droppings (which I have pictures of), stepping on broken glass left behind in our marina suite and zero cleaning services or even an offer to clean our room. We were not notified or informed in anyway during the check in process that the room would not be serviced. The room was left with just two towels from an entire suite. In addition to the general lack in cleanliness the level of service was not even close to what a "top luxury hotel" should provide. I tried to address the listed issues with the hotel staff, however the manager never contacted us as we requested during our stay or after our departure. The only interaction we had was after they forgot to bring our room service and my partner called to find out where it was. She was told it would be there in 5 min. and to wait by the first floor door of the suite. Over 30 minutes went by and still no food leading to calling the front desk only to find out they forgot the order. Another 20 minutes went by and finally the food arrived cold. They did say sorry. I've stayed 1184 nights in Marriott hotels, achieved Lifetime Titanium Elite Status and I don't think I have ever posted a review. Normally, addressing it with the staff who in the past has immediately addressed the issue. Not this time.

We have stayed twice at this resort and the employees were great!
These questions are best addressed to the actual hotel and not a general Google question. You can look at website of the hotel and explore. The beach is very close and you could walk to it or drive if you like. It's a lovely area. I believe you can bring a pet for a fee booked in advance. Not sure they could accommodate that at the last minute. There is a lovely formal dining room which with well behaved kids should not be a problem. It is very elegant. Not sure if kids activities of the hotel itself beyond there is a pool. My guess would be as parents you entertain your own children. Most hotels especially like this will have at a minimum babysitter services or recommendation is that would be your need. Taking your children to the local beach should be the best entertainment and it's lovely. I would imagine the hotel would have some beach needs such as chairs and umbrellas etc or pack a picnic for you if you would inquire. Ask the concierge or call and ask them in advance.
Just a yacht that is based out of there!
No. The hotel does have a very nice jacuzzi by the pool though.
