The Hilton is a good option for anyone going to a convention in the San Jose Convention Center. The staff is nice/friendly. That said the amenities are basic so don't expect "luxury". The pool is very small. Parking is very expensive.

Very clean and spacious rooms. The bar/restaurant is being renovated I think will be completed in July. In the meantime they’ve setup a temporary restaurant that more than suffices, food is excellent and the bartender is great!
The Vaza
My rating would be higher if they didn't have the types of elevators they currently have. They assign you an elevator for the floor you choose, which causes lines and back-up. They'd broken down two times during our stay and there's only the one set of elevators to get to other floors. Otherwise, the rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. I'd wished they had a microwave or breakfast option, but compaired to other places, we at least had a fridge.

Fantastic customer service all Around. The restaurant is a temporary site, they are renovating the permanent facility, but the food and staff were outstanding. Location is in the heart of downtown San Jose. Light rail stop is directly next to hotel and it the river walk is across the street. San Pedro Square is a few blocks away with plenty of food and bar options.

Yes they were available
Yes, through the Hilton's App (Hilton Honors mobile App)
Indeed it does, there's access through the lobby on the first floor as well as access directly to the convention center concourse from the second floor. This is also true of the Marriott on the other side of the convention center, too.
Free breakfast is only provided to gold members. If you do have gold, breakfast is provided to you on the executive lounge from around 7-10am.
No but they do have valet parking. Such a nice hotel
They do not. We had to buy our own. There is a Safeway a few blocks away. I suggest walking there, parking is a pain and i got ripped off paying for it.
Best to look on their website
No breakfast with normal visits and parking is a daily fee. Self park can get fairly full when busy.
Without a doubt. Being an Honors member is a privilege and it's free! Join if you arent for great rates.
