First off they lost my reservation for a group of 13 that was made 10 days in advance. I even checked 9 days prior to the date. After arriving early for our 6:30 dining I struggled to get seating and finally split the group into 5 and 8 and that worked. Now dinner for most was good but 1 member order fried chicken and would not recommend it as there was not much flavor. Another person found hair in his meal. I'm a big fan of lobster and it was great however there was a special for 2 lobsters at 10 dollars more than a single that I was not made aware of before ordering. Not sure if dining here will be in our future.

Great place with views of water. Clam chowdah was very good with lots of flavor. I had one of the House Specialties: Bouillabaisse. It was EXCELLENT! Plenty of mussels, steamer clams, shrimp, haddock and salmon. The flavor was outstanding!! My wife had roasted chicken which she said was very good and 1/2 chicken!

I'm a tour bus driver and I had such a great time with my customers who came from all over the US to experience New England Lobster. The staff who served us were phenomenal and very attentive. Although I didn't have the lobster, the clam chowder and baked haddock was phenomenal. Wish I remembered to take a picture of the Blueberry cobbler but it was so inviting I devoured it. The cobbler was packed with blueberries and quote flavorful without being overly sweet. I do have to say even though the chowder was really good the potato ratio was a bit higher and clams finely minced so even though you get clams in almost every bite because it's smaller pieces, there was more chewy potato vs clam. Also even though I loved it in the chowder just to let you know they season it with dill, which isn't traditional in a New England Chowder but I loved it. Make sure you save some bread slices to have it with your chowder!

My meal here was most delectable. Delicious, meaty Lobster roll.... the mussels were some of the best I've had. I followed my meal with a superb slice of Peanut Butter pie , also I had a Virgin Bloody Mary ... not the best I've had but still delicious. I want to especially express how outstanding our Waitress was ... ask for Sue when you go.

The restaurant is currently closed for the season with a plan to reopen in April. We have and will continue to follow the state of Maine and the CDC guidelines to safely operate the business. The restaurant removed tables in order to space the remaining ones 6 feet apart. We ask our guests to practice social distancing by maintaining 6 feet from others when possible. All our employees must wear face coverings as well as our customers when not seated at their seats. We clean, disinfect and sanitize regularly, including special attention to high contact areas. We are diligent in our practices and take great pride and care into providing a safe and comfortable environment for our guests.

Always best to call ahead as they change regularly; i can tell you spring is always on the higher side, as the boats have been dealing with winter and spring storms. Thank you for inquiry.
