Last night after spending the day in Maine we stopped in at Clay Hill Farm for drinks, dessert and to hear Katherine elegantly playing the piano before our drive home. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, bartender and had our own piano concert in the lounge. It was wonderful to see familiar faces again and to be in a historical building that I love. In a world with so much change it was comforting and refreshing to be able to be a part of history where the owners have preserved it so nicely in the original farm building. I love Clay Hill because it is unique and preserves a piece of history. It is not just a standard generic restaurant as most have become modernized. The blueberry shortcake and lemon creme brulee were delicious as were the drinks especially the New Old Fashioned. Katherine took requests on the piano and for a little while it was a wonderful escape back in time. I can't wait to go back soon and plan dinner the next time!

We lucked out finding a table st this gem tonight. Off the beaten path, stunning old farm house engulfed in glorious gardens. Live piano music , beautiful inside, plenty of room and warmth. The food was incredible, appropriate proportions, excellent prices, very comfortable atmosphere with a high class look. Our server's, Rachel and Meg were an absolute delight. They treated us like royalty and only made the whole experience even better. We will be back.

If your looking for something special this is the place! The food is excellent. Great menu. They are very friendly and even though we came to this restaurant by accident without reservations they fit in and I'm really glad they did. Just to let you know, the valet at the door parks your car which does make things easier. The piano player just inside the door is so nice and friendly. Everything about this place makes it really special. It really was worth the extra cost over your average resturant.

Restaurant charming and inviting although a bit dated. People very nice. Food leaves a lot to be desired. The bisque was certainly NOT award winning and the prime rib was severely underseasoned and roasted too slowly. And for the quality level the price point is way off.
