About a month ago, I brought my 1 year old dog in for a grooming appointment. I specifically booked my appointment with the owner, but they put me with a different groomer. I showed a picture of what I was looking for and she said she could do it. I was extremely upset when I got him back.. he was completely lopsided. His head and legs were uneven, scissor marks across his back and body, and many nails cut too short with dried blood. I called the owner same day to inform her and wanted to send pictures but she declined.

Very weird experience tonight to say the least. We were looking for a locally owned pet store and decided to pop in. When entering the store, an employee (young man) was helping a customer move heavy bags of pet food to her car. While exiting the store, the employee did not acknowledge my boyfriend and I, although we moved aside to let him go and held the door. While browsing for 10+ minutes, no one greeted us, talked to us or asked us if we needed help. The same young male employee checked us out and was extremely rude. At first I thought it was a joke - he was sighing and condescending. The last thing he said was “The card went through. We are done here”. No thank you or good night. Overall, the customer service was the worst I’ve experienced in a long time. Two stars for the inventory. We came looking for small pet supplies and found a wide variety of products including lots of Oxbow. Prices were several dollars higher than other competitors, which was expected and fine to support a local business. Nonetheless, I do not think we will return.

I love the folks at Belmont Pet shop and am often stopped on the street by folks inquiring about Coco’s groomer. “Where to you get your dog groomed? She looks great!” I highly recommend them. We especially love Aaron.

I have taken my puppy to Belmont Pet Shop for a year now. They are so knowledgeable about what works best for him. Their products are all great. I totally trust that whatever I get for him there will be healthy and good quality! I’m a new pet owner and Caitlin ( the shop owner) has answered many questions and made several spot on suggestions that I appreciate ! Also- Aaron has groomed my pup all year as well. He does such a great job! He is skilled, careful and my dog loves him which says a lot! Plus I love how my pup looks when he come home! I highly recommend the Belmont Pet Shop!
