This is one of, if not the best place for what it does. A chance to right yourself after bad decisions or bad situations in your life. Once you can get your relationship with the Lord back on track, everything else falls into place. You have enough freedom so you don't have to take yourself out of society, but enough of a safe umbrella to help in tough situations when and if they come. Bottom line, if you come to Providence Home and leave before you are ready, you didn't want change in the first place. This place will bring your true intentions to the surface.

Extremely soul crushing experience. Resided here for one year (10/12/2020-10/01/2021) and they really didn't accomplish any of the core values they advertised for me, Personally. At the end of the experience, despite being eligible for home ownership and having 2+ years experience in sobriety and a BA in Christian studies was TOLD to go live in the homeless dorms at OGM, an Oxford house, or to , and I quote, "Get the Hell out" (Rob Settle, acting director at that time). Does all of its business over PayPal and cashapp, had multiple instances where told "my money isn't good enough" (mike byers, program director). Had more disagreements with office staff about money than Steve, mentioned later. And through that whole year, myself and only one other person had the gumption to maintain sobriety, gather some changes and move forward in life (estimated 250+ turn around head count). He is deeply traumatized by the experience as well. While there, I saw virtually every personal relationship I had devolve into almost nothing. Unsure of what the acting director's (Rob Settle) problem is with my father (they have known each other my whole life) but at this point neither are willing to speak with me. The resident assistant of my building, one "Steve Stevenson" (surely an alias or something yet more sinister) was a real piece of work. By the end of it, he had blamed me for multiple instances of fire alarms being triggered and an entire slew of mishaps. He was fond of saying "I hate recovery" and very fond of communicating that he had hated me. By the end of it he ensured that it was "me or him" at which point I had chosen to leave and begin a housing search, where he told me "good luck finding something". Bottom line- one of the worst experiences of my life .
