I'm sure it's an isolated event, but I found an "in stir purchase only" item online stated to be in stock at this location. I wound up in an emergency dog rescue situation on my way to the store so I knew I couldn't spend time looking for it. I called ahead to ask if they might please bring one to the cashier. They said they never heard of it... Didn't sell anything like it ever. The next day I went to the store without the canine passenger. The young lady had no idea but I showed her the website and she checked her computer and sure enough, they had 3 in stock. Where became the question. So she gets the manager. He's clueless. The 3 of us wandered around looking and the manager won... He found them. It would have been better though if the employees were familiar with their merchandise. I could have purchased it on my first attempt and saved another 60 mile drive to the store.

Walked in just to see how the location is different from the one on five 75th avenue and Bell road and they're about the same nobody greeted you whatsoever and most of their stuff was in the wrong spot but otherwise it's always shockingly cleaned and they need to work on their customers at customer skills and greetings when someone new enters the store

The asst manager Harvey ,and his crew showed great customer service. I recommend this store for what you are looking for. I’ll continue to purchase any sporting equipment from this store. These people definitely deserve something in return for having great customer service.

Big 5 on Dysart usually has the best prices on sporting equipment. I visit the location frequently and the service is very good. Ivan in particular went out of his way to search for some baseball items while helping two other customers and even called another Big 5 to search for the item. Go there first if you are looking for sporting goods.
