I was a new customer who had a pair of jeans I told them I wanted to launder with no starch no crease and I also had a pair of shorts that I wanted to launder but with a crease in it. I watched them put the tags on what was to be creased and no crease. So when I pick up my clothes the jeans I stated no crease in had a crease. So they apologized and I wanted them to take out the crease. Ok, my second time taking my clothes here I bring a little more and I am more specific about what I want to be creased and don't want creases in. So again I am specific in what I want to be creased this time I have a denim two-piece suit so the jeans need to be creased. I have two other pants, not jeans that I instruct no creases in and a pair of timberland jeans that I say no creases in and a pair of cotton polo shorts I want to be creased. On the day I arrive to pick up my clothes everything has creases in it and they don't have a clue about why I have a crease in the items I said no creases in. I hate that I have to pre-pay for a service to get something done incorrectly I can't keep going back to the place that has no attention to detail and just says sorry but you have already pre-paid and then have to wait around for them to correct. I didn't wait this time as I was very upset but I called and spoke with someone to call back in the morning to speak with the manager or the owner as to correcting this. I informed the person on the phone that I spoke with that I would be bringing the items they put creases in to fix. I would not go to this place anymore as they don't pay attention to details. Update: From a week ago Avondale Drycleaners did correct my issues as stated above but unfortunately, I still can not change my rating for the previous service this time when I picked up was satisfied with the correction so thank you.

I was just impressed that the owner was very truthful and told me the cons of dry cleaning a certain dress I took in. Honest service.

Dropped off a vintage tweed jacket to be cleaned. When I picked it up the jacket is now missing a front button. I brought it back hoping they would do something to make it right, and the front lady told me it was my fault for not telling them it was "loose," when it wasn't when I dropped it off, and kept giving reasons for why they are not liable to fix or refund.

I brought Uniform pants in to get shortened by two inches. A few days later I received a text that they were ready for pick up. My girlfriend picked them up for me since I travel for a living. When I got back from a Trip I realized that the pants were not altered but most likely Dry cleaned.I went back to get the requested work done and was interacting with a male employee.I explained that I needed the pants shortened by 2 inches. This was not information he wanted to accept and after a little back and forth communication, I was told that he would not take care of my pants. This is poor customer Service after they did not get it right in the first place. The ignorance that appeared to me to come from their understanding of Business and barely any reprimand/re-course is astounding.

Avondale cleaners can dry clean or launder jerseys, depending on the situation and customer preference
