Holiday Inn Express & Suites El Paso Airport, an IHG Hotel

It's no fancy hotel and a bit old. However it doesn't smell only fresh. The staff was very nice. The beds were comfy so were the pillows. We will be using this particular hotel again. Easy access to interstate.

Room was nice but TV in the living room was missing. The evening clerk just said “sorry, I’ll let maintenance know.” We’re not TV watches in bed, and the way the room was designed the bedroom TV couldn’t be turned to watch TV either. After. Nearly 400 mile trip we were looking forward to just relaxing and watching a movie or two. When we reiterated to the gust service person the next morning to be sure it was identified the previous night as missing the person stated,” …sorry your second TV was given to another king suite room whose TV wasn’t working.” When I asked in shock, so we were supposed to go without for our room?” He shrugged and said, “sorry I’ll add some points to your IHG account.” Sad.. but at least the room was clean. We had a poor experience with another Holiday Inn &Suites in another state during our travels..

Check in process was good we got our room tv wasn’t working body hair in tub smudges on the mirror, and lights to the bed didn’t work. maintenance came to fix tv he came and left 3 different times but couldn’t get it to work. They gave us a different room. And it was okay I just didn’t like the uncertainty of it being fully cleaned.

I must admit that I normally don't like to review hotels. I think I reviewed 2 in the past and they were not good only because of the service or maintenance and cleanliness of the room. Maybe I gave them 1 or 2 stars. But I will say this. I went last night and apparently the company that I work for had a small situation with the reservation and bill. May I say that Jessica went above and beyond. She was amazing, so very nice and as professional as anyone can be. On point and followed up on my situation. Excellent employee!! If there was a 10 star I would give it to her! Thank you so much!
