We stayed here for one night and had a fine experience. The hotel is old but everything was clean, including the pool. The staff was also very nice. It's not nearly as bad as some of the reviews make it out to be, at least in our experience.

The room was ok, though the carpet probably should have been replaced 5 years ago. The location is near the airport, which is a huge plus. When trying to sleep in, housekeeping opened the door without knocking at 9 am and where asked to leave. They then did it again at about 9:20 am. The pool, however, was a milky shade of blue and the steps leading in weren't visible past the first step - did not swim in it. We did try the hot tub, which was not hot at all, but a tepid soak in what my GF described as 'old smelling water.' We speculated that they covered it when covid hit and then, just recently, opened it up again without any maintenance. The area around the pool had not been cleaned in some time. The worst part of the stay was that there was no hot water in the shower/bath. Literally just cold water and we had soaked in the 'hot tub' so we had no choice but to accept our fate.

The no kitchen "suites' are really small and cramped. The free breakfast was a sign posted a few hours before the 6am breakfast start time, starting there would be no breakfast. The keyed entrances to access rooms from outside are few and it's closer to access rooms by climbing the stairs from outside instead of taking the elevator and having to walk away from, then double back to your room. The elevators are located in only 2 areas on each floor. Depending on your room number, it's a maze of left and right turns away from, and double backing to get back to your room. Front desk did call to see if i needed towels or trash bags and then delivered them to inside the room. Coffee is always fresh and hot with everything including flavored creamers. Coffee pots, blow dryers, iron and ironing board, large adjustable shaving/makeup mirror, microwave and refrigerator come standard in the suites. My room had 3 lamps, 2 of which had burned out bulbs. The security was super helpful. The entire hotel needs an update. The wallpaper, carpeting, and amenities are outdated and carpeting is filthy in rooms. Beds are king-sized and comfortable. The outside landscaping hasn't been groomed in quite some time. Key cards are always messing up. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Bathroom is shabby and lacking proper care and maintenance. Mold in the tub. The woman at the front desk addressed my concerns with curt attention and short attitude. This hotel advertises a complimentary breakfast but only puts up a "sorry no breakfast today". The sign is gone after 9 AM. Find a better hotel.
