We adopted our sweet dog Nora and she is a wonderful German Shepherd. Everybody was so happy for her cuz she's been there for a while and they treated this wonderfully!

They give priority to those that adopt more than one cat at a time, rather than first come with an application, which appears to get tossed. I never got a call. It feel less than a fair way to handle best placement in good homes who want only one fur buddy.

Great team of people and volunteers there. Always checking the care of all animals and finding them Great homes.

I came in with a cat that was left of the street. You're under quarantine, so you can't take it. Then, when you give me the phone list to call animal control or the animal shelter. The animal control person said that he can't take the cat, and then the Solano County Animal Shelter won't take her either. These numbers don't work, and the only thing left to do is to let it go back on the streets because as you said they're "free rooming animals". Even if this cat was a house cat...... That's messed up. Merry Christmas.

you can you can call the Humane Society and ask them if they have any reports of missing dogs that fit that description and they can take your number down
You'd have to pay a fee.
16 with a parent and 18 without a parent.
Yeah, H.S. is a rescue/shelter, not a vet. With the pandemic happening, however there are lots of low cost options available to financially struggling pet owners right now. You just gotta go online and do some searches & track the info down. There is low cost help out there. Try Google search or Bing or whatever your fav is. Good luck.
YAY! Very awesome of you to save her. Poor baby. Sounds like she really needed you to find her. The H.S. is pretty cool about just taking in animals needing help. The volunteers are way cool, but the staff seem really burnt out and don't tend to give as much love as they should anymore. Bad for the innocent animals, not their fault. But the shelter, if you can't keep kitten, will take care of her & try to find her a home. Thank you, you are an angel for helping the little fur baby!!
Bringing in a sweet 5(?) month old female stay kitten. 3/18/21 Very cuddly. Hoping shes chipped so she can go home (she is malnourished though🤔) but im sure shell find her forever family soon. 🥺
Probably... I never surrendered an animal and only adopted when dealing with them... But the humane society is true on helping animals find good homes and saving pets lives... I say take the cat there and ask for help
Call HSNB. They are there today
Yes. Best place is SPCA in Vacaville tho because they adopt their pets out daily.
I know they foster out kittens and puppies. I'm not sure about bigger cats and dogs. Have you tried getting them registered as emotional support animals?
Report to animal control, is your dog micro chipped Picture? Post to Nextdoor, Facebook, social media outlets
Yes, they have cats to adopt. The Humane Society does a great job of preparing the cat to be adopted. Its given a full medical checkup and also micro chipped. Cost to adopt is usually under $150
Hello I have a small Italian greyhound 4 years old great with kids I can no longer keep her due to my landlord not wanting pets I’m in need of a good family that will take her
Yes! Please! They sure do use them!😄
That's really sad but it doesn't cost anything to bring him there they will look for a good home for him hopefully they're not full if they're not full they might not take him but I got both of my dogs
Hi, where was he found?
You might try Napa's Animal Rescue people. They run an amazing organization. Very low cost services and wonderful peeps working there that love animals. I'm not positive about meds or specifically what you're asking for, but they are the best that I have ever brought my pets to for low-cost help & awesome care. Give them a call, can't hurt to see! Good luck and I hope you find what you need 😊
?? What are you asking? The translation didnt make any sense. I will help you if i can understand what it is you need....
Thanks for the info... And no I never had him chipped..
Gasoline sprayed on wasp nests we kill them instantly!
I have not asked about that... But I would say call them and talk to somebody about this.
You can explain your situation, that you need someone to Foster them until you get settled. I had a similar situation but I had 2 German Shepard couldn't help but might be easier for your babies
Wow. Really?!! Did you seriously just ask THAT like THAT?? You ought to be ashamed of yourself.
Yes, you just need to call them. They can also aid in catching the kitties safely and humanely.
Very cold question. Sorry, the Humane Society does not euthanize animals just for being old. They are a no kill shelter. You're going to gave to speak to your neighbor if you want to help them find a humane way for his dog to reach the rainbow bridge. (And I don't think you actually have any "options". It's not your dog.)
I would go the SPCA and see if you can surrender her unless you can find her a good home I don't know what else to say I wish you all the best
Suggest waiting for mama kitty to return. Call the Humane Society when they open.
Sherry C. Is correct. Animal control is in charge of picking up animals. Unfortunately, there are so few workers that they get backlogged a lot. We here at HSNB work with them a lot and they are always busy. They cover all of Vallejo as well as the rest of Solano county. Please, try to be patient with them, their doing the best that they can.
They are closed on Mondays. Call them in the morning
If you were to adopt a puppy from the Vallejo North Bay Humane Society, they will have Hammer her fixed first. The total cost for adoption would be anywhere from 175 to $ 250
You can surrender your dog to the humane society and explain the reason for why you're surrendering your dog.
There are other ways to keep birds away from your trees like hanging old cds from the branches or mirrors the shine scares them away. In the wineries they use foil-like strips that wave in the wind.
Please report this
Hi, I am a volunteer there. Only adoptable dogs are posted. Are the chips registered to you? If they are you might be able to find out by a phone call. Otherwise you'll need to go in.
Get rid of any chicken in his diet and make sure he has flea meds and dont use carpet fresh. Those r my first 3 rules of thumb. Get a baby onesy for him to wear and if u can get his nails done have them grind the nails in the back so he cant injure himself with them.
Yes you can surrender her but from what you have stated about her so far it sounds like she will be put down so if u care for the dog I would just go ahead and take her to the dog pound in Fairfield Vallejo is a no kill facility but after being in Vallejo for a while they ship them to Fairfield where they are put down . Wondering what made the dog aggressive all of a sudden out of the blue. That's unusual. Did something change in your household someone move in or out of your home. Is the dog a jeoulous dog and u got a new puppy I'm sure if u think on it something has changed in this dogs world . They are creatures of habit like us and sometimes when things are different it really affects them.
Im not sure, but im quite sure if you call them, they maybe can help you. Sorry couldnt help you with your question.
Yes bring them in to check for chip scan
So, exactly what is it you are asking about? Or actually, what is it you're even saying??
I wish I had seen your question sooner. If you ever experience something like this again call the Animal Control/Humane Society where you live. That's cruelty. I'm sure they will be able to help or at least tell you what you can do or not do. I'm sorry to hear of the poor dog being treated that badly. Sometimes people really suck. I'm hoping that he's ok now, since your post was made 2 yrs ago. But don't ever give up trying to help, the animals will always need good people like you that actually give a s*** about them. Thank you.
Probably not. Call the city see if they do
Bayside vet on Tennessee & Sacramento call 553-8363 M- F 9:00 to be 5:30
They don't do vet services there, you've got to bring your pet to a Veterinary clinic or hospital. The Humane Society save, shelter, and take care of lost or stray animals.
Damn, I just got your post. It says 14 hours ago! I hope the dog is ok. I would have gone if I'd known at the time. Hopefully someone else did in time. Next time call the Humane Society on Sonoma Blvd. They respond right away!
Look on Next door it's a neighborhood app
Yes people do turn in animals please make a missing report to the Humane society and go thete to check as well. I hope you find you kitty.
If a chocolate lab ends up in the shelter, and is adoptable, then they will put the dog up for adoption. It's not really a "sale".
No there is no vet at this location. Contact Bayside on Tennessee St and Sacramento 553-8363
DOESN'T MATYER
If they are yours they will charge you a fee. But if you find them in the street I think they will take them for free and put them for adoption
You should post this in vallejo happenings or what i love about vallejo etc pages on facebook if you have one thats sure to get you a response.
