This place is an absolutely joke! Staff is completely unprofessional and unpleasant. Came here for a driving test and this male employee was extremely rude from the beginning! Nasty attitude and a horrible driving instructor, does not know what he is doing.

I have came in now 3 times with an appointment. Each time once it gets close to 4pm they come out and say “that’s it we have to cancel the remaining appointments” this time I had been there since 11am waiting. Each appointment I have taken the day off because of how long they take and each time I have missed pay due to their lack of “employees” their words not mine. How about only allow as many appointments as you can handle! Every single employee that I have dealt with is extremely rude and unprofessional. If you have other options I highly recommend going to a different DMV. Unfortunately for what I am testing for this is the only location within 50 miles that I can do my test.

Very condescending driving instructors, Even my mother doesn’t indirectly vent her personal problems on me the way my instructor did in the short drive we took. Failed me for going 1mph too slow because I was yielding to a cross walk in school zone

It's a must if you're doing a class A or B. They really know there stuff. Friendly, patient and respectful. But just like most DMV's, get there early.

Limited parking space.
You have to do appointments online and they rarely give you same day appointments. It's usually 2+ weeks out.
You can drop it off or do it on line yourself

Yea but you have to remove the fifth wheel. I just took the cdl test on the 20th of August with just the truck.
Yes, but he couldn't handle the standard
I wasn't aware that a government building could be a franchise. I don't think you can own a DMV.
If anyone applies, gets and/or renews a permit as of February 7, 2022 you must complete a full course at an accredited truck driver training school which will include your 15 hours behind the wheel requirement.
No, only commercial licenses
Commercial only. There's another DMV location on Hemlock not far from there
No

Yes you can and in fact you must show it in order to track you test.
Go to the dmv an do another application adding your new address that's my opinion
No they do class A if you want a regular license just fill the app out online for an appointment
If you live in the Fontana area and have a commercial drivers license you can go to the Fontana Commercial DMV on Popular and Valley Blvd. If it's a Class C you might have to call DMV and see what they say to do. Hope this helps.
I don't know what a VTT card is, but this location is specifically for commercial licensing, so I would imagine it does.
I recently moved from hawaii and trying to find out if I have to do the whole process of acquiring a cdl again. i hope not. i have my tanker, airbrakes and hazmat endorsements. im getting a lot of different answers. DMV website does not say how to go about transferring my hawaii cdl to a california cdl license
Yes you can! Just go in and get a number and the waiting time is not much

I did my DOT renewal here.
First come first serve it is better to get there around 6:45am. P.s. bring snacks.
I'm not sure. However, when I turned mine in, I was not asked to show an ID. I was only asked if I knew my license number. In saying this, I would say yes if there is a link to do it. However, I know you can fax it in to Sacramento. I did this last year.
He still must meet DOT requirements exp:medical exam but under temporary disability no as long as he is cleared from a Dr to return to work without restrictions he should be fine
That's is just a police and car insurance job.

I asked the receptionist at the dmv in Fontana, and she said that they don't have trucks for people to use/ rent for their tests. Although, there are people outside that do rent their own trucks for this test.
