If anyone applies, gets and/or renews a permit as of February 7, 2022 you must complete a full course at an accredited truck driver training school which will include your 15 hours behind the wheel requirement.
The dmv requires 15 hours meaning that is the minimum. You can try looking for other schools not on their preferred list but more than likely you will have to complete a full course. If you have your permit already you should be able to bypass that. Tell your employer and keep them updated on your progress. The new rules suck.
