First three (and fourth) pics are clear signs of infestation problem that Sterling Point keeps avoiding during Pest Control maintenance, that we’re PAYING monthly for. Last two pictures, living room and dinning room, have been the requirement for maintenance just to simply spray ( which they know is not going to work, even Pest Control says it won’t!) or they REFUSE to honor their commitment if this is not done properly to their standards. As of today, we stayed out the house per the requirement for 6 hours, came back, and NO roach bombing happened at all!! This has been the second week that I’ve been trying to get them to show, so I’m taking legal actions to save my little ones home. Do not try this place please, unless you don’t care for roaches, lazy maintenance, and an unprofessional and uncaring management team. Wish I moved out sooner unfortunately.

Do not rent here. I have been here for 3 years and never missed or was even late for a payment and you would think this place would want a tenant like that and would want to be good to that kind of tenant, not here. The staff nor manager or even the people that own the complex communicate with the tenants at all. We have to find out when rent is due that there are changes already made. We called and messaged to get our lease renewal and nothing, then we were charged a fee for not having the lease renewed. ----To update, the complex has been trying to rectify the situation so I went up a star.

I have been here at Sterling Point 2 years, come Sept 1st 2021. 1st in a 2br and now in a 1br- different areas of the community and both on 1st floor. In all this time, the 1st and only pest encounter I've had was a few months ago: ants. I reported the issue to the front office and the exterminator was by and tackled the problem just a couple days later. I've not seen even one ant (or ANY bug) since then; so, reading other people's reviews- claims of scorpion and roach infestations- baffles me. Also confusing was reading some of the unfavorable comments regarding the office management/staff. My only "complaint" on the matter is that staff members who had gone above and beyond for me, ever since my very 1st visit to the property, 2 years ago, are no longer working here. Obviously this "complaint" is no more than a matter of my personal feelings, rather than a mark against the professionalism of current staff and management. I regret that I can not recall the name of the lady who worked with me when I applied for my 1st apartment here (after having been homeless for a year and a half) and I miss KT who was instrumental in my transfer to my current 1br unit, when my lease on the 2br was coming to an end. I wanted desperately to stay here where I'd been so content, rather than have to move to another community. She pulled a couple strings just for me and I will forever be grateful to and for her!! I am quite happy here at Sterling Point Apartments; and, I look forward to calling this community "HOME" for years to come!
Loving Life
I have lived here for 2 years. The people in the office have always been amazing. Each morning when I leave for work, the maintenance team are cleaning the parking lot and common areas. When I have packages delivered, the people in the office are always helpful in getting them promptly. I rate them a five star. This is not to compare them to a high end apartment community, they are not. For the area we live and the rent we pay, I believe this community is top notch. Any time I have had any sort of slight issue I have been more than satisfied with the outcome. As for the community residents, during the summer of course there are a lot of kids. I have always been very impressed with how respectful these kids are 90% of the time. Even if the parents are not around, I have found the kids themselves are respectful and pleasant. I have had kids help me carry heavy things to my apartment and have had kids move off of the sidewalk to let me pass if they were playing. All in all my time here has been very positive. A shout-out to maintenance also. Each time I have had a slight issue I feel the maintenance shows up before I even hang up the phone. They've always been very prompt I'm taking care of the small things that I've needed in the two years that I've been here. I have never ever had any issue with any sort of critter. I had moved from another apartment complex that had been infested with bed bugs. Again I've been here 2 years and have only had a positive experience to share. I highly recommend, if you are looking in the South Mountain Area look no further than Sterling Pointe Apartments.
