I lost hope and didn't believe I would ever have a restful night of sleep and I was so embarrassed to tell anyone that I was in need of help paying my rent or not having food until I met Holly Chance she is the most understanding and caring person I have ever met after talking to her I just knew everything is going to be OK I don't drive and didn't know how to get to the food pantry This lady went to the pantry and delivered food and all the things I needed to me and I don't know how she knew what I needed because when I unpacked I started to cry she brought me items that I loved and desperately needed the only explanation that I have is she's my guardian angel I know some people mahby think so you got food and stuff you needed and that's when I want to tell you she brought me so much more she gave me hope and she really listened to me and I knew without her telling me that she understood and she cares ! She makes me want to be a better person I never met anyone work harder than Holly she told me when I thanked her it's not work it's privilege and the blessing to give back and all the people that come from this wonderful organization feel this way they're all wonderful and I think God in heaven for letting us have people among us like that we would not survive without them so thank you to all of you thanks for your help love and understanding and for putting hope back into our hearts and love in our smiles Thank you Holly Chance My guardian Angel for given me my Smile back

This organization offers so many free services and assistance to our community. I have done several service projects here including making meal kits for disaster victims to donating gifts to make a family's holiday season a little brighter. MLM is a powerhouse of compassion in our urban core of Kansas City ❤ Definitely recommend seeing how you can get involved with one of their efforts.

They are wonderful there and will likely help you, however, if they can't for whatever reason, Catholic Charities also provides that kind of assistance as well.
They have individual food pantry daily, and the Harvesters is the 2nd Saturday of every month except in December
