This organization was started by Rita Flynn (who has a lot of experience with community resource needs) to effectively deal with abuse, addiction, homelessness, and recidivism. She, along with all of her staff and volunteers, are doing a wonderful job in helping people and greatly assisting the community in reducing crime in the Greater KC Metro area. UPDATE 01/15/2022: The organization is great, but I have stopped going there for much-needed assistance because of the rude, disrespectful individual that greets and admits visitors and clients.

Was there to support a client, very friendly and encouraging staff. Wonderful resources for individuals working on re-entry.

I reached out to the place back in March for help with a utility bill even offered to help pay for rent also! They pay full and not partial unlike other places either is a blessing but this was definitely a big help for me! Definitely recommend

The Journey House only accepts females to live there, but the Journey program will offer services to both males and females. Its the best program I've come across and has done so much to help me and get me where im at today!
