Uplift is a marvelous organization that provides hot meals, clothing, blankets and other donated items to the homeless in KC 3 times per week. Call to volunteer or donate. My husband and I volunteered this week.

Absolutely love Uplift. The volunteers are amazing and the experience is incredible. You really feel like you are helping people, not just with their material needs, but their social needs as well. As a volunteer you communicate with the individuals you serve in a welcoming and friendly environment. Highly recommend this organization to anyone looking for a volunteering experience.

They are great. i went out and handed out hot chocolate, I was on the (east i think) route, we saw a guy who had 60 cats to take care of who took care of arm co. , that abandoned steel place. everyone was so grateful on 2nd Saturdays of the month, and sometimes more, you can go help them take donations.

That is a good question. I'm not sure if they change our they are permanent locations. I will be delivering food this weekend and find out more

Good evening Mr.and Mrs Colwell 3 questions. 1. Have u contacted the Uplift Organization? If not find the organizations 24hrs number call them immediately. 2. If u are only looking for a meal call the Salvation Army. 3. Do u and your family have a place stay? If not call City Mission Union Family Center.

Justin it would be easier to help to know what services you are looking for or need. Uplift does everything that has been mentioned and more. Essentially if there's a need that they can accommodate they try very hard to make it happen.
