I applied for link in hopes I would be considered for a position in a school near my area. However my time was waisted and I was completely led astray after the interview! I was given instructions to go to concentra and instructed to send over additional information only to find out my number was blocked by the interviewer. My mind scattered to find a possible reason but In my true and honest opinion, i bombed the interview! I felt very uncomfortable during the interview almost like my intelligence was being played with. I still managed to finish the interview doing everything that was asked of me. Mind you I have credentials to work with children and can pass a background screening! Management listened to complaints and said he would follow up but had no explanation after I reported such behavior only except the fact that I was not selected! Only thing that comes to mind is that I asked them for their Covid vaccination policy in writing and he became offended of some sort. Please be mindful of discriminating employers ! Absolutely not never Again! If I wasn’t hired why are they giving me further instructions to go get a physical and TB? why was I told to send over supporting documents? I have no other reason but to believe someone did not like me for gender, race, sexual orientation or physical appearance. I was treated unfairly & given no explanation! Never again!

Can they help a recipient that Graduated from there program once before, Again?
These people assess you for being homeless, I think you have to have an interview first and then they may give you one. Hope this helps
I don't knpw Katies number I'm sorry
As a matter of fact myself and my daughter went through the program several years back, so to answer your question : yes Any scenario of a family structure will be in the realm of possibilities..
Oh I'm not sure but I certainly hope that they do. I wouldn't see why not.
They can help , not immediately. I was on about 3 month waiting list. They helped me. I'm so grateful. Try City Union Mission.
You have to go and get an interview done and take a vat assesment for housing.
Go to the office tomorrow morning and talk to them also you can go to the community center on 32 and Wayne explain your situation and get them to help you guys
You have to get a VAT assessment done and get on a list for housing in Kansas city. When you are matched with a resource they will contact you. The process can take months. If you resolve you own homelessness it would be quicker. If you have a homeless letter apply for public housing or a housing voucher. That can be quicker.
You could always call and set an appointment as well. That's what I did. It worked perfectly and they found me an agency to work with that found me housing within 6 days of walking in the door.
Hi Vicki, thank you for asking. Community LINC is part of a city-wide coordinated entry system. The first step for housing help will be to take a VAT assessment. We are one of five locations where you can take a VAT assessment. We are open for VATs: Monday and Wednesday, 1 PM to 4 PM and Tuesday and Thursday from 9 AM to Noon. If you have any more questions, feel free to give us a call. For more immediate help, the following link has some options: http://gkcceh.org/uploads/3/4/9/5/34958486/gkcceh_coordinated_entry_one-pager__1_.pdf
