They will ask for an picture ID and ask how many is in your household as well as the date of birth of each family member you add. They also have bread free daily. Very small front office, massive cubicle space in back, large space between that could seat guests more comfortably... I know I'm begging for help here, but spending an hour in packed conditions getting sprayed in the face with air freshener by a clerk to receive two single serving boxes of cereal, a stick of deodorant and a roll of toilet paper is a bit much. Still, if it's an emergency and you can find this place and don't mind the wait, it's better than more desperate measures.

*nice* I like nice people. I think that if it wasn't for places like this. there would be a lot of ugly people committing altypes of crimes. to feed their families and to pervide a safe heaven for their loved ones. It's January 2018 and I'm here in Kansas City Missouri and it's -10 degrees outside.so thank you Catholic Charities for being there in a time of need. truly thanks.

It's been my experience that you can get into a shelter with a work schedule you just have to join their worker program Kansas City Rescue Mission and the City Union Mission both have one. Yes Catholic Charities will help with shelter but it is when you are at the point where you're ready to rent an apartment they would help you with down payments and utilities

"Help" meaning will they PAY for you to get a birth certificate from another state? Honestly, I have not witnessed this organization doing so. As a veteran, I've seen them provide clothing for work, boots, and transportation i.e. bus cards and bikes. I've heard they provide vouchers in large sum. I haven't seen this so I don't believe it.
