Such a great place. But dust , mold. Floor rot. Don't close the doors it becomes hard to breath. So sad it was a great place at one time. If you go pick a room with the least amount fake plants and trees. They are full with the layer of dust. .I brought my duster this year but it was to much. The sunroom had not been vacuumed in who knows how long . I began sneezing liked down and dead flies from the fall were lying in the dust. That was our favorite room in all these years. Now the carpet under the swamp cooler is dark with mold and the floor full of wood rot. I have to wonder if it dangerous mold. If we do go back we will try a different room. I will bring my duster and a vacuum. Sounds like a great vacation. Not. It's a sad shame. The father would never let the happen. I hope the son sells soon or it won't be worth anything.

Third time I’ve been here! Love this place! Clean and quiet and relaxing. Cedarville welcomes you with open arms and treats you like a local. Great place! Also one of my gifts to people is gift cards from here and they all love it also!

We have been going to Surprise Valley Hot Springs since 2005 and have enjoyed it immensely.. We did miss the covid years and just went back this last weekend. We were surprised to find no paper towels or tissues in the room and were told that those are not supplied anymore. A drive into town remedied that as we simply purchased the needed paper products ourselves. A quick look around the room shows that much of the cleaning care from previous years is now missing as well. While we still enjoy the tub and environment around this region, it is apparent that the level of service at the resort is diminished noticeably. This area in general is something to be seen at any rate, the wild horses and the wildlife abound as if you stepped into the past 50 to 100 years. The rugged ranches and ranchers go about their remote lifestyle providing the necessary items to keep this lifestyle going. The area is truly something to behold. If you have time to travel the "Barrel Springs Scenic Loop" you will understand the remoteness and uniqueness of this area and if you can make it to the "Sheldon National Antelope Refuge" it will take you a step above and beyond your wildest imaginations. This area is North of the remote "Black Rock Desert" of Nevada, which also has a primitive and remote condition reminiscent of pioneer bygone days. There is much to see near and around the Hot Springs and if you have the chance, I highly recommend the area even though you may have to bring some of your own supplies 😉.

Lovely place. Your own tub with hot spring water that runs 24/7 in the back of your hotel room. You can regulate the temperature. Good kitchenette. Fabulous views. Very affordable, like $80/night.

Should be and they do have dog friendly rooms
Yes, with a deposit. We took our dogs and didn't have any issues. You might, want to upgrade from a basic room though because it might get kind of cramped.
