I recently moved here and I’ve noticed that there’s constantly garbage around the complex and there’s children running around until late hours of night. There’s always noise, this is not a peaceful community. We decided to not renew our lease once it is up because when we were looking at these apartments, we were shown a different area of the complex that was quiet and clean.

I lived @ the 1453 building for two years. It was nice and quiet, never had any problem with neighbors. Tannia the manager and I believe her assistant manager Rosa were really nice. I knew Tannia for two years and she was friendly and helpful. I can say this was the nices apartments complex I've ever lived. I bought a condo and moved if not I would have been still there. Will recommend this complex for sure.

The manager Alice is terrible, she never answers the phone and when you go in to see her she always acts like shes got better things to do than go listen to a Tennant talk about anything. When you do actually speak to her it literally goes in one ear and out the other, she patronizes you or makes it out to be like it's your fault on the issue, or says she will do something just to tell you what you want to hear and never acts. They charge about $70 to $80 for sewage and trash on top of the rent that goes up $100-150+ per year. I lived there for a year and a half. They raise rent with each new lease and never renovate or add amenities. I've been moved out for about 3 or 4 weeks and have called the office multiple times to see if I will get my deposit back or not and have not gotten a call back yet. There is a lot of noise due to kids and crazy tenants arguing. The only positives to the community is Leo the maintenance guy, and yesenia who works in the office with Alice. Yesenia should be manager instead. I'm very thankful I moved out.

I moved in April 1st 2017. My daughter, my husband, myself, and our unborn child. The previous people moved out on a Monday or Tuesday. We were moved in on a Saturday. It was VERY strange to me on how they could of cleaned the apartment that fast and got stuff and got new carpet (if needed). We got our keys. AFTER completely moving in, and unpacking. I noticed some roaches. The apartment was SOO dirty! We had soo many roaches! It was ridiculous! I have a two year old and I'm currently pregnant. This was VERY unacceptable, and unsanitary! The pest control people couldn't come until Thursday so we were just going to be living in this apartment because we had no where else to go while roaches crawling everywhere! I could NOT take it. I had my husband move the fridge and stove away from walls because that's where they seemed to be coming from. There was SOO much trash, roaches, cat toys, dead roaches! I had my husband clean, mop, sweep all behind there because the alive roaches was eating all the crumbs, dead roaches, etc! They DID not clean this apartment, the cabinets were ALL sticky! I took pictures behind the stove of all the stuff we found. I went into leasing office and showed them the picture. The lady's response was "ohh! You shouldn't have cleaned it!" Excuse me what?? We had to clean behind there and KILL all the roaches! I'm 30 weeks pregnant (at the time) and it needs to be clean for the safety of my child and my unborn child! She said she would show her manager and see what she says and get back to me. NEVER did ! I honestly believed they would of made SOME accommodations or took at least something off our rent. But No! Never got back to us. This is the worst mistake we have made signing a one year lease. We expected to come into this apartment, start a new change with raising our kids here and this is the worst apartment we been to in San Diego. This is honestly unsantitary and we're NOT happy at all living here! DO NOT move into these apartments! Rating these apartments. I can't even give them one star! They get 0 out of 10 stars!

We are not taking the Section 8 anymore and for the very few units that we do have they are given plenty of time find properties that take the program.

Our countertops and cupboards are still falling apart been weeks when when is something going to be done?
