Rented here for 3 years, manager is super rude. Vicky came banging and screaming at my door. Maintenance is super unprofessional Victor opened my door and yelled at me, he opened it without waiting for me to open my door. Apartments are roach infested; management and maintenance are aware but do not care. They have pest control because they are aware of the roach infestation in walls. I hated living here, glad I left. During move out they tried to charge me for the roach infestation but thankfully I had proof roaches were there since Day 1. Manager did nothing about noise complaints. Also office is never in office, lock office doors and never answer the phone. Oh and to top it off their answering machine is full so you can’t leave a message. I had a leak in my toilet for 5+ months and maintenance couldn’t figure it out until it started leaking into my downstairs neighbors apt. Then they proceeded to fix pipe in wall but did not replace floor in bathroom which was soggy/soft from water damage. Good luck if you move here.

This week while I was looking at places to move to I came across Lantana Hills. The rates seemed reasonable and the amenities were exactly what I have been looking for. When I was checking the place out, Gia was who helped me. Gia was friendly, incredibly helpful, and was especially patient with me and my extensive amount of questions. Most people I have encountered in my apartment searching have seemed too busy to help and not seem to care about me as a renter because the complex might not have any vacancies, but not here. I felt heard and like my potential tenancy mattered. Gia and Lantana Hills deserves five stars, this place is different in a good way.

These apartments are the bare minimum. Only rent here if you are desperate. We live on an extremely noisy street, so every time someone drives by, 3 car alarms go off. No in-unit laundry, no garbage disposal, no A/C, very little heat. The laundry units are constantly broken, and there was a dead mouse in the laundry room last time I was in there. We also had mice in our apartment, and the maintenance workers were no help at all. Then the management company forced us to move to a different apartment in the complex, but it wasn't ready in time for us to move, so we just had to unpack all of our stuff for a month, then repack when the new apartment was finally available. Final nail in the coffin is that they keep raising rent every time they are legally able to, so we will be moving out ASAP.

I’ve never written a review in my life, but I felt I should write one about these apartments as a warning. Definitely one of the worst places I‘ve ever lived and I lived in 29 palms for 5 years. First thing: there’s no AC so whatever money you think you’ll be saving is going to be spent on a portable AC unit that hardly works and you’ll be cooking in your own home all summer. And if you plug it into anywhere other than the kitchen it’ll blow out the power to your entire apartment. Second: the parking situation is awful. If you want to come home from a long day of work only to spend another 30 min looking for parking this is the place for you. We’ve been trying to get a parking permit for months and just keep getting told we’ll get a call back which we never do. There’s so many more reasons you shouldn’t live here, but if you decide to live here anyways I’d just like to say you’ve been warned and I tried doing my part.
