Built during WWII and only minor upgrades since. Safety per Govt standards vice commercial (can't sue the feds). Little concern for employees and contractors that have to park amongst the homeless.

Housed in the historic former Consolidated manufacturing plant, where B-26 Liberator bombers were produced during World War 2.

SPAWAR (now NAVWAR) is a military subase. If you posted pics of the inside they probably removed them for security reasons, same for any sensitive info. Otherwise yes, kind of pointless.
