Every word in this review is true. I was at the hospital for testing because my hip hurts. Boo whoo. The last time I had seen a doctor was my discharge physical some 40+ years prior. So I'm limping home and I see a Goodwill. Mr. Prada, Gucci, sometimes Armani only fits me is reviewing Goodwill Japan Town, San Francisco and it's off the charts! I was so happy to been in there that I started buying random stuff. I bought an item that they didn't know the price and I didn't know what it was. When they told me it was $4.99 I whooped with joy, threw up my hands and yelled, "I'll take two!" A woman who let me go ahead of her when she saw me balancing flatware, an Elon Musk autobiography and sporting goods under my chin howled with laughter and started talking to me in rapid fire Spanish that I couldn't keep up with. I bought a basketball. I stand 5 feet 2 inches. There were beautiful women in the clothing aisles that dropped trou right there on the spot trying on blouses, shorts, skirts, dresses, pants. Every make, blend, color, size, texture and era. If you know me personally you are either tingling with anticipation or rolling your eyes muttering the word, tedious. Here it comes.... the clothes weren't so bad either! I may or may not have pictures of this experience at Goodwill. Only myself and Google photos know. I suggest you get down there and experience it yourself. Like all of my reviews, regardless of the product, dish, taste or whatever adjective there is to describe a tangible, it always comes down to the people and experience. The people at Goodwill Japan town, San francisco, are on point and dialed in. Their eyes are on your eyes and searching. They've got you covered. They're happy from the front door to the front door exit. Go in with an open heart and remember, you're recycling, keeping people employed and doing something good.

Overpriced just like with many other Goodwill stores in the city. $20 for used pair of sneakers which are all scuffed up and were donated for free!?!? And they will not budge on the price. Please shop/donate at a local thrift store.

There’s nicer stuff in there but it’s overpriced. For example Shein tops at $10. A swimsuit with a Marshall’s tag for $12 selling for $12 at GW. I still bought some stuff, and books are still a great deal at $1

This Goodwill location always has a great selection and is considerably larger than other goodwills in the area the staff is polite including security at the front who isn't very invasive like at some other locations and their Halloween selection is to die for.

I think, if you go in and ask for the manager, they should be able to help
It was open when I went 4 to 5pm, but I didn't donate anything, I'm not sure how there doing the donation thing, they usted 2 take donations around the side of that place
Yes they take most things
No
If it's going to be open. They will open wings at 9 in the morning and close at 6 in the afternoon.
I spoke with an employee who lives within my apartment complex and she informed me that do not accept magazines and recommended that one can possibly donate such items to their libraries.
