Stella Nova is a private clinic and does not currently work directly with any insurance companies. However, many of our clients are able to access services using their out of network benefits. We are happy to provide you with the documentation required for you to submit a claim for reimbursement ("superbills").
Stella Nova works with adults aged 18+ and couples who are located in California. We specialize in working with women and nonbinary professional, BIPOC, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and couples of all genders.
Yes, Stella Nova offers secure video therapy sessions for clients located anywhere in the state of California.
Our San Francisco office is located in the Nob Hill neighborhood. However, due to COVID-19 we are currently offering online therapy only. We plan to resume offering in-person sessions for local clients in the second half of 2022.
Yes, all new clients start with a free, 20-minute phone consultation with our Intake Specialist. She will talk to you about your goals and hopes for therapy, and ask some questions to match you with a therapist who is great fit for your needs and preferences.
