I was pleasantly surprised. I knew the apartments were on the small side, so I wasn't sure at first. But after being such with a house I no longer needed in a not so safe neighborhood, I gave it a try with their smallest unit, at 576 square feet. Cozy, certainly, but also adequate, I'm saving money on rent, utilities and commuting time, and I actually have many choices within walking distance now. The units are kept up well too. Location alone makes it worth it.

We lived here almost two years in both the 2-bedroom and 1-bedroom units. During the period we resided here I felt the customer service we received was horrible. The property manager (Kristen I believe) was ALWAYS extremely rude and made a couple of unethical decisions for her line of work (in my opinion as a property manager myself). The assistant property manager (Megan) was always pleasant and courteous, as was the new admin. Maintenance requests were rarely timely and often unanswered. We had a roof leak our final 4-5 months in our bathroom that caused part of the ceiling to fall, which was never attended to. We had a terrible brown recluse problem in our 2nd apartment. We often had issues with neighbors smoking inside and smoke ventilating into our unit. The front door knob to our building was missing for 6 months and I watched the maintenance simply ignore it rather than take a minute to fix it. The rental rates compared to the area were what drew us in, but I wish we had considered bother options. They did provide some upgrades to the buildings such as siding/windows/doors while we were there however the interior is extremely outdated. Overall, the apartments have a lot of potential but the management is lacking.
