Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Airport - South & Cruise Port

It’s conveniently located close to the airport and cruise port with a free shuttle to and from the airport. There is a shuttle to the cruise port but there’s a charge. We stayed one night. The hotel is clean, the breakfast was very good and the pool is nice. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are well kept. The only problem we had was the hot water ran out in the morning. That is a first for us at any hotel.

Positive: Plenty of restaurants and activities within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Pool was nice and clean. rooms are large, great for families. Negative: Pull out only included a sheet, no other blankets or pillows were stored in the room, you had to request them. Shower was very dark, not very much lighting in the bathroom.

My husband and I stayed two nights here before our cruise. Lovely room! Lovely hotel! And Pam at the front desk is awesome! If we ever back this way again, this will be our go-to place. Lovely outdoor pool, clean, modern, and friendly! Felt like home!

Came in from Airport at 2 am expecting a nice sleeping environment. Room ac was OFF with 80 degrees outside. Called front desk they said that room will cool in 30 min. It took almost 2 and half hours to cool off. Absolutely worst experience to go through with tired kids.
