John Aguer
Great venue. Enjoyed the music. Would recommend taking the bus from Arcadia or another pickup spot as it was so easy.
Diane Clark
We LOVE the Hollywood Bowl. Only in LA can you enjoy a world class orchestra playing the soundtrack to an amazing movie outdoors at night - the weather is always perfect - and the food and wine tops it off
NATYP
We went to see Gustavo Dudamel, parking was not difficult and the exit took 30 minutes. Very good show for only $14.00 ... a great experience!
John Hatch
We had a chance to see John Williams conduct at the famous Hollywood Bowl, and it was epic. Parking seemed a little chaotic for it being our first time, and expensive $22, but we got there really early. There is a shuttle for way less $7 pre, and $12 day of, so it might be worth it to visit the website and check that out. You can also pay beforehand and save a few bucks. Be ready for plenty of walking, with some areas that are pretty steep. Food was expensive, as you would expect, and not all that great for the price. However, food and drinks are allowed in LA Phil-presented events. Check on the website for exact details, but depending on the event, you can come prepared for a picnic. The group next to us had it all, even some to share. Also, remember that this is outdoor seating, so check the weather and be prepared. You might want to bring a blanket or jacket even on a summer night. We purchased seat cushions for $1, and I would highly recommend doing that. Again, it was a great night, and the memories made are well worth making it happen.

You can bring your own wine into the Bowl on events hosted by the LA Phil. It's on their web site.
Two hours before the tickets time
There is a drop off area as well as multiple shuttle pick up locations. Check the website for more information. Also in the area of the bowl there are many pay for parking lots.
Yes but you have to be ahead of the event because then there is no parking
I think you have to purchase them online because the tickets will probably get sold out immediately
Yes you can buy tickets st box office.
Typically shuttles run between 5-5:30
There's adrop off area i front. But it gets very crowded due to street closures on venue nights. I also find the park and ride very convenient for venue's at the hollywood Bowl.
I didn't see any. You can always call
Yes. However. They limit the size of the lens length if you have one of the fancy cameras
Lyft has a contract with the bowl no only is it cheaper but the Lyft drivers are provided free wifi for easier pick ups and drop offs. So do Lyft and ditch uber! Lol
We have not brought any in ourselves. According to their web site, you can bring glass beverages, wine and beer in with the exception of leased events. https://www.hollywoodbowl.com/concerts-and-events/general-info/house-rules/
Lost and Found (Hollywood Bowl) (323) 850- 2060
Oooo, yeah they might not dig that... they have a few tight concession stands.. but yeah ... I know, I know..save a few bucks... I'd make it discreet, as I remember being asked not to bring another drink in from another place last time I went... no big deal..totally understand.. it's a business and all... just keep it on the DL, and you'll be right as rain! ;-)
Beer 🍺
Parking at the Bowl is a nightmare. Take the commuter buses to the Bowl, which are available all over LA. The Hollywood Bowl website has a link to the transportation options. I use the park and ride buses. Also, Lyft has a drop off point. Have fun!
The federal building
Yes. Off Lankershim and Cahuenga Blvd its the appex shuttle. Long line but....its so close to the Bowl.
Most Hollywood Bowl musical Concerts last about 2 hours. The Bowl, by law, must finish all Concerts by 11:00 p.m.
I believe service animals are allowed, but you will need the credentials. You may want to just call the bowl and ask.
I can't tell you
YES. They sell beer and wine, or you can bring your own.
Yes you can bring your 🍺 and 🍷 and sandwich if you like
A concert that is NOT put on by the Hollywood Bowl. So the artist's company "rents" the venue.
For a Hollywood Bowl event , yes. For a leased event , no.
Check to make sure that this is a regular event. I think it's a leased show tonight in which case you need to check. For regular season shows you can bring wine. Check the bowl's site to be sure.
Usually the concerts are 2 hrs. Or 2 and a half hrs. The most, But they always start playing about 30mnts. late. Just check your time and consider the parking time spending if you are driving
Yes absolutely, but only for direct bowl events. Rod Stewart is an outside event so check.
I think the sign I saw said 26$? But I know you can do basic/stacked parking (the 26$ one) and priority parking. I'm sure the website tells! *Edit* I highly recommend taking an Uber or a Lyft. Parking and traffic is a nightmare and they have a dedicated dropoff pick up point for Uber and Lyft.
Hilton
Online with ticketmaster
Yes you can. The shuttle pick up is in the parking lot. So you can drive to the zoo, park and be on your way.
Yes but it does fill up quickly because LA has a lot of handicheaters.
Depends the situation. Call us, customer service.
Ask google! Great question...
I do not think you can bring your own food. But they provide food and alcoholic beverages inside. Be warned, they are a bit expensive.
The Lakewood Pickup is at the Lakewood mall and it is $5.
Box office is mainly online
Yes. Multiple locations. Parking attendants will direct you to area closest to your seat
Yes they will let you bring alcohol and food.
You may check Hollywood bowl website for info
No.
It is behind the Dome and to the left at the top of the parking lot. They had signs out yesterday wnen I voted
Yes sometimes...not always.
Yes, they have concerts during the summer and fall months. Check the website for details.
Best bet is to contact Hollywood bowl each show is diffrent.. for kids shows I would assume so
I don't think so...it's alot of walking and walking....
Yes there is reserved parking for handicapped but yes you need to get there early like 2 hours early
If it's an LA Phil Harmonic event than yes. If it's anything different, no.
The whole area of Hollywood highland is very safe. I recommend staying on Vine Street there are several hotels of all prices and is close to the Hollywood blvd and the Hollywood bowl
$10 dollars you can park at any Hollywood bowl parking lot A,B,C,D
On Friday a friend of mine was there about 5:30 and the Gates were already open
https://www.metro.net/news/simple_pr/Go-Metro-to-The-Hollywood-Bowl-and-Enjoy/
No. You might be able to hear something, but you want see anything. You can get inexpensive ($20) tickets for some performances. Definitely worth the money, look for tickets in picnic section.
tickets on your device is sufficient
It depends on the event organizer
It has a box Office, very efficient!
Yes
Sorry, I don't know the answer to that one. Best bet is to just give them a call.
the policy is mixed. you can bring any food you want as a picnic as long as it fits into a bag that is less than 15"X15"X22" & you can bring any liquid as long as it is not in a glass bottle; also, you cannot bring in any refillable/reusable container like a metal water bottle or a Camelback. But if you bring boxed wine and have valid ID that is totally allowable. There is a very nice grocery store on-premises near the west entrance where you can buy alcohol, wine & beer.
Check the Hollywood bowl website
No glass bottle and can allowed. No alcohol allowed. They want you to purchase inside the gate. A beer or a glass of wine cost you around $17. High way robbery.
Box office opens at 12 noon. Don't know prices
Yes. You do. You just need to remember the bus number and where they are going to be park. You have to be back around 10 to 10:30 pm
Not really
I have two questions for you: 1) don't you have access to Google, and 2)do you have a telephone that you could use to call the Hollywood bowl and ask?
Yes, but as you seem to be aware, there are different rules if it's a Bowl or leased (3rd party) event. You should always check the web site or call for exact details.
Ditto
Nope
Agree with everyone posting.. Walk away from the bowl and get your ride there.
You can buy a poncho there .. someone brought a umbrella and opened it up . Security and the ushers handled that situation within 30 seconds
Idk but if it's for a concert May be you can find it in Internet
You can enter at any time besides after dark. The bowl is open to the good public on any day besides events but when you go there now for the show tonight ask them and I believe you should be able to enter now but after you scan your ticket leaving the inside of the venue will be prohibited technically but there may be exceptions person to person but anyways if your in there with who you love there will no problems and no reason to leave the amazing Hollywood Bowl!!!!!! Until the show is over of course!! Have an wonderful afternoon and evening. As well if your from Daytona beach you can't drive on the beach but they have picnic areas in and around all the parking lots on both sides of highland Avenue and 1 restroom on each side with a 3rd one or 2 near the place where you scan your tickets. There is 2 really nice picnic table exclusive little parks in and up the parking lot right behind the stage and behind the parking lot with views into the bowl before you scan.
No, but you might find a little cushion helpful. You can rent cushions also.
Not sure. It all depends when and what time the show is
Yes.. but.. uber or Lyft..better
Eventbrite
Its seasonal... between June and November on the usual with some before in may,April time on occasions, down season is when Walt Disney concert hall or whatever it's called starts it's own season
None, because last year we went on a concert binge for date nights and saw Paul Simon and James Taylor. Out of all of the concert venues we hit last year, the Hollywood bowl was the best.
I am not sure
It's closed for the season, however you can call and buy ticket packages for the summer at a more reasonable price.
We enjoyed being there. we believe Holly wood boul still have high expectations in cine field
When we went to Paul Simon we took wine in. It wasn't a opened container. But, probably best to contact them.
The shuttle it's s great option, but not necessary if you're taking an Uber, anything brats driving yourself.
It depends on where you purchased your tickets. If it was through Ticketmaster for the Bowl, call them & you can get a refund.
Yes, the venue allows food and alcohol.
Go to the Hollywood website. Www.hollywoodbowl.com, create a login account & they will email and/or mail you all their info!♡
o
Yes, when...
I'm sure some people do.Depending on who's in concert.
https://www.hollywoodbowl.com/plan-your-visit/getting-here/
Sat, September 15
Yes local 33
I'm sure Common is the opening act and Queen Latifah will close the show since she is the headliner. All advertising for the show lists them both on the bill.
usually. If the event is sponsored by the bowl the yes, but if it's an outside sponsor then you may be restricted.
There are parking lots for about $20-$25 dollars however its stacked parking. What is always a good idea is to take a shuttle bus out of the Lakeqood mall. You can park three for free. Hollywood is very strict on parking at other non sanctioned lots or businesses. Don't take that chance. The shuttle bus will be 8-10bucks since you don't have a ticket.
Yes
Last Thursday , when I was there 5:00pm , it already opened .
Probably pick up the bus at Del Amo Fashion Center unless your community has a bus pick up to Hollywood Bowl. You can go to ticket master and get the tickets. I believe the bus tickets are $10 to $15 per person. TicketMaster is where you would find the bus pick up/drop off points.
I guess you can call them and ask that question. I would not know that information. I just attend a concert there once in awhile.
Too Bad! Thank you for your response.
If you live in the Valley you take the shuttle buses for $6 from Ventura and Lankershim in Universal City. Park for free in that lot. I never drive to the boel.
I would call the box office directly.
There are parking lots around the bowl. It cost $20 to park there. Either way you might have to wait to get out. I parked at Lot D and it was easy to get out and easy way to get to the freeway.
Last night he came out at 9:30pm
Not sure. I've only attended the Jazzfest
Sorry, I don't an answer for you. l have always driven to the Hollywood Bowl with two or three disabled individuals. Parking for the disabled is usually there at the top level for easy access.
Go to the "Playboy Jazz festival"you will enjoy the whole day...
If you contact them by the website, you may also get promotions
There is nothing free, the best thing is to take an Uber.
Yes but when I went they had police dogs so careful what kind you bring.
Best thing to do is stay outside the area or spend the big bucks.
Of course Food and Drinks expensive. It's THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL! be prepared Don't go there Hungry. Your there to be Entertained! Lol
Same answer, need the latest even changes GOOGLE it!!-
They do not... Parking is at a premium in that area.... there are some RV parks around LA that sell themselves as being close to the Hollywood Bowl but the closest one is in Van Nuys
The closest is a Park and Ride service in Pasadena. $7 per person round trip when pre-purchased $12 per person when purchased at rhe lot.
Buy a parking ticket in advance for $27.00 in Lot B.
They say no camera with detachable lenses etc...they have no prob with small cameras n cell cameras. . ..was there the other night...they didnt search very thorough!!
So did you ever find a hotel? I'm having the same problem considering I've never been to LA before so I'm not sure where to stay that's decent and close.
Depends on your budget. Parking is very limited and starts at just under $30 and goes up. See their web site for Park and Ride schedules. If you're in LA or Pasadena it costs $7.
No. Take Metrolink or Amtrak to Union Station, Metro red line to Hollywood/ Highland. Good luck getting home again if it gets too late.
Usually they star a couple hours before the show. I recommend you go the the Hollywood Bowl website, they have detailed information on parking and shuttle schedules.
I think so but not sure
If you're talking about how to set it up, then you can go online and depending where you live, you will choose the closest parking lot. And they drop you off right by the bowl. If you're talking about after the show, then you go through a tunnel and keep walking and to your right there's a sign that says park and ride, which then you comw out of the tunnel and you'll fing buses with employees holding signs of your bus route to take you back to where you parked.
You can, it's not far, maybe a half mile. But it's uphill on the way there, downhill on the way back.
This place is very historic great to hear I music jazz or another music's
Yes they do but they're not always open and going during a show can be kind of crazy with the crowd so I recommend calling first
Not a shuttle , per se, but as good as nevertheless.... Use Uber or better yet, LYFT LINE. Cheap, easy, fast, no need for parking, available ON CALL. If you're going to an event there (i love across the street), trust me, you're going to wish you Uber'd.
I would not recommended, its stack parking, about 30 bucks per car. You are boxed in until everyone leaves.
The showtime is printed on your tickets. I recommend coming at least an hour before showtime to get through security/parking etc. Place gets crowded depending on what the concert is. Do some research and have a plan on where to park as there are tons of cheaper options that arent stacked parking.
Yes, very close to the Oscar delivery theater
Theres a CVS and panda express just south of Franklin perhaps near Gower. If you get to Hollywood Blvd you went to far. I've parked at both. So many cars coming and going no one noticed.
Yes but it leaves from east LA college
Yes, of course there are lockers ...
70's several times. Even had a bomb threat one year.
You'd have to look on their website. Or Ticketmaster.
Lakewood and candlestick in long Beach, there's a shuttle in front of the hometown buffet
If you're going to concert it is better to take a park n ride shuttle. Parking is stacked so getting out can be difficult at best. The shuttle we took was $7 compared to parking $23. It is off the 101..
Food is allowed everywhere but outside drinks are not allowed past the security.
Tell them not to bring cameras with removable lenses.
Yes because you wont pay handling fees. Buy tickets in advance if you can
i can't give a specific hotel recommendation but i can tell there are several very close to the bowl and Hollywood Blvd., you are literally in the center of everything Hollywood has to offer.. im sure regardless of which hotel you choose, you will have glamorous time.
You want to rent out the Hollywood Bowl for an event or concert that you want to put on?
You might consider the park & ride. We did it from Pasadena, $7 in advance, $12 at the bus per person round-trip.
Parking is $22 and a nightmare to get in and out of because they stack the cars I always park for free at the Universal Metro lot on Ventura and if you show a TAP card the shuttle is free otherwise I believe $8 round trip
Mexico
You can buy it online at Hollywood Bowl website or you can buy it directly at the park & ride but it costs more to buy it directly at the park & ride.
Correct
The blue Angels
Wheelchair services are separate from tickets. Look on website for tel no for wheelchair services. Theres a special parking lot too .
Go to the Hollywood bowl website...for leased events there are restrictions to what you can bring inside
If you are talking about Oct. 6 yes it is a leased event. Tickets should say what you can and can't bring.
It does not have an area to dance inside the premises. The parking I suppose depends on the event. In my case it was not free.
Not sure if it's leased .I called and they said that you can bring in food and wine to the pink martini event
Yes, $25.00.
Yes it is . La Philly is no longer part of the bowl
Yes but you can't bring in wine to leased events. They should tell you if it is one but if it's a big name performer and tickets are outrageously expensive chances are good it's a leased event.
They announce it. Email, etc
You can bring in a regular camera. No recording equipment. There are no check-in facilities.
I was told that the bus tickets for that show will be honored for the rescheduled show.
The buses drop you off right at the venue. From parking to venue its maybe half a mile or less depending on which lot. There is a steep but short hill though to get to the seats.
The Hollywood Bowl Box Office is currently "OFF-SEASON". Their normal 'seasonal' hours that include the day that you've inquired about: TUES - SAT / CONCERT DAYS 2pm - after concert begins NON - CONCERT DAYS 12pm - 6pm
Yes, but most shows have sold out online. Sometimes you can buy a ticket from someone standing outside who has a spare but this is not guaranteed.
I believe it's still to Capacity...... You can call, or Check their App.
No mask required at this time
You can't access your tickets until 2 weeks prior to the event. It is digital or you can print them. Unfortunately you can't get a refund. Your best bet is to print them and sell them at that time
One of my favorite events at the Bowl is the movie nights. The orchestra plays the film's musical score as you watch the film on the large super HD screens. It's magical!!
Yes you can. Bring your alcoholic beverages of choice and your own food if you like. Wonderful venue
In 2019 it was a shuttle service from some areas of SF. You can check with metro website to see if they will have shuttle from Topanga Cyn mall or any other area.
Well not sure about the park and ride bus. Though you can park in a pay lot and take the bus. If you can . Take the train(metro train/subway). It can get you places in the city real quick. Better then sitting in traffic
