If you're going to concert it is better to take a park n ride shuttle. Parking is stacked so getting out can be difficult at best. The shuttle we took was $7 compared to parking $23. It is off the 101..
It's best to take the Park n Ride through the Hollywood Bowl. Also, check their website for the nearest pick up location and prices. Travel times can range depending on where you're departing.
Get the big blue bus R 7 too Wilshire n exit La Brea n get merto bus too Hollywood Blvd going north bound drops u on Hollywood n Highland frendly bus operator..
I dont have a car. I'm a tourist and know nothing of the transit here. Ive been using Uber the last few days but its not very fast so thought we could use transit today.
You can also park at Hollywood and Highland. This is a popular mall that has underground parking. You could walk up to the Hollywood Bowl from there. Much easier than trying to park inside.
Traveling time probably about 40 mins driving. If money is not too much of an issue for you, then you can drive & do a valid parking ($50.00). With valid, you get straight access to the FWY w/ no waiting. When you pull out, you are on the FWY in about 100 feet. I never took public transportation there before. I hope this was helpful to you.
I think you should check to see if shuttle from Federal building on Wilshire is running. The cost is only $12.00 per person. The best route would be the 405 north to the 101 east towards Los Angeles into Hollywood and follow the signs to the bowl. I never drive there i always take the shuttle.
