I have lived at The Springs of Indian Creek for a couple months now and I actually really like it. We have had a few issues with our AC unit though. The units are probably pretty old. However maintenance has been really great and very urgent when fixing issues.

The management team needs to communicate better with each other and their tenants. It’s so much miscommunication. One time as I was exiting the shower, two of the maintenance people walked in my house to check the fire alarm. They wouldn’t leave until it’s done. They did not even offer to step outside until I got dressed. I literally only had a towel on. It was soooo uncomfortable and scary. I contacted the office explaining to them what happened and how I felt. I was informed That they sent out an email regarding the fire alarm. I never received any email or anything. I recently reached out the office voicing my concerns about my echeck coming out my account. I was told that they received it but still waiting for the bank to release it. One would think if a tenants reached out concerning their rent, they would reach back out to update them. But no they didn’t. I got charge extra 213 fee. When I had the money and even called to see what was the delay. I try my hardest not to go off. I didn’t want to be label as the angry black woman. I just renewed my lease and regret that I did. The trash people barely pick up the trash. I literally only see them pick it up on Sundays. It’s to the point that raccoons are digging in our trash and leaving a huge mess. Recently people have gotten they cars broken into or parts stolen. This complex supposed to be a gated community but the gate barely be close. The maintenance are amazing. If you have an issue they’ll to fix it the exact same day if not the next day. That’s the only good thing when it comes to these apartments.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! If I could give zero stars I would!! Sprinkler systems all around the complex are broken so there’s so much flooding and water sitting around the complex which causes a lot of bugs. Here recently the sprinklers in my backyard (which are also broken) were starting to flood my whole yard. Their solution to this was to place huge mounds of mud all on my grass, and in the process completely ruining all the grass I bought myself. They responded that they’d fix it eventually. The fact that this problem got worse and all they had as a response was that they’d get to it eventually….counting the days til move out to say the least! Another huge problem I’ve had here would be with up keep of the property. A month after moving in, there were wasps that would somehow get into my house. Later realized there was a wasp nest in the fireplace. When I figured this out I immediately notified the office. It took nearly 6 weeks before someone from the office did their job in removing the nest. In conclusion, this property could REALLY use some more understanding office staff, and it wouldn’t hurt to start fixing things that have been broken.

I thought I would leave a higher star rating, but after thinking of my whole experience at the complex, one star is generous. The complex is nice and fairly clean. The maintenance staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. Some of the office staff is decent. That is the extent of the pluses. On to the negatives. The trash concierge service is hit and miss. There were numerous times our trash was not picked up despite following all the rules for it. The security gate(gated community was a big plus for us) didn't work and stayed open more than 60% of the time. When we received notice of rent increase, we let them know that we would not be renewing the lease, and even though our lease ended in the middle of the month it would not be pro-rated. At one point, due to the my job(I am an in-home caregiver) I brought home a few bedbugs. We informed the office immediately and was told they would pay for the treatment. They did pay for it then charged us over $2200 for the company treating one room only. I had packages that the company proved had been sent and delivered that I never received. As packages are left at the office before going to the package lockers, I assume the staff committed mail theft for a few pieces of make-up. Which do believe that is a federal felony. And speaking of theft, let's get to the biggest reason for why one star is generous. When moving out, my husband was getting our things from around the town, and planned to clean it some. A pipe burst was he hit a valve. This cause a flood. The apartments are wanting to charge us for their pipe breaking because "you touched our pipes". So beware of this place full of thieves and cons. Everything is a scam to rob you blind..
