My Apt flooded on 5/16. Haven't lived in it since. Because of the mold and mildew. Still had to pay for rent full price. Its 7/5 still waiting for the mold and mildew to be cleaned up. Talked to 3 different management teams during this time.

This is the worst place to live the management is terrible they don’t even have a phone that rings you get voicemail every time it’s infested with rats and roaches they don’t fix anything properly my father has had to come do all my repairs I would or recommend being in these filthy apartments

I filled out an application to rent a unit on 6/20/20 located at 8222 Calmont Ave 76116. Flor told me that she will call me the following Monday. I provided my phone and email. My phone was dropped into water and stopped working. Since I did not hear from them as indicated, I accepted another unit at another property location. When I tried to get my money order return then the nightmares started Flor told me that she thought the number on my email was a letter and that is the reason she couldn't reach me via email. Per Flor her manager did not agree to return my money order. Chris the area manager refuses to return my money order, because he stated that on the first contact I had with the Flor, I cancelled the unit. I waited from Sat to Wed, that is three days, and no one contacted me. I couldn’t wat forever. Therefore, I took the first property who contacted me. Nicole property manager called me on 7/7/2020 and told me that corporate will mail me a refund on 7/10/2020. I called to follow up with Nicole on 7/15/2020 as to why I have not received the refund. I was hoping to hear from the property manager: “let me follow up with corporate.” or “I will see if there is a tracking #” Instead Nicole told me with a tone of voice... I don’t know how the post office does their work Today is 7/22/2020 and still no refund when it was supposed to be mailed on 7/10/2020. Similar approach I read from other reviews that were due refunds. Update: I got a call from Trisha from 8222 Calmont Ave property stating that corporate will overnight the refund today 7/22/2020. She couldn't provide an answer as to why it wasn't mailed on the 7/10/2020 as Nicole indicated on 7/7/2020.

If you care about your safety and well being and that of your family do not move here. The photos below are from Mother's Day 2018 and by my count the 4th or 5th incident of gun fire near my building in the last 60 days. Honestly I would recommend avoiding renting at any of the nearby apartment complexes as well but this one seems to be the worst. Management only cares about getting your name lease and then any hint of customer service vanishes. I gave them a weeks notice for a broken oven and they were more than prepared to let me the Sat, Sun, and Mon of Christmas without a functioning oven. "You have burners is what I was told". You can't make this stuff up. Maintenance is non-existent and there is no security on site. It amazes me how a place can be this bad to live in this country. I suffer from severe depression, anxiety, and have been diagnosed with PTSD. I live here because it's one of the only options I had available to me as part of the housing program I'm in (a program for which I'm extremely grateful for) but at this point living here actually makes my symptoms worse. Constant drinking, shouting, fighting, and loud music (if you want to call it music) from the parking lot at all hours of the night. Recently the frequency of gun fire outside has risen dramatically. This place has never in the 5 years i've been here been a good place to live but now it's so much worse than it's ever been. Office staff act as though they don't grasp the concept of customer service and that they are doing you a favor by doing their jobs. They're to busy towing paying residents vehicles with their little towing scam company to address real issues that might improve quality of life for residents. A one star rating is far more than this place deserves. It's like living in a third world country right in the heart of Texas. I would strongly suggest any rating above 3 stars as being fraudlent in some manner.
