So somebody took my dog to the Hesperia animal shelter. It was his first time to leave my yard. Well I go to get him and they want to charge $245 to get him back. I was able to get his papers from previous owner but he didn't giver his licence paperwork so they automatically charge $65 to get him neutered. They rather kill dogs then to let their owners to get them as they are made The staff is very unhelpful and I'll never do business with shelters they get zero stars

We really appreciate the staff and services. We’ve brought close to 10 stray kittens here for spaying and neutering before finding them forever homes and we surely appreciate their low cost services. We especially like that they do so much for the strays, injured and not so fortunate fur babies in the area. We’re glad to see our fees help with that cause.

Absolutely Amazing and Awesome Services. First time here, First time finding a vet up here and it was smooth and simple. They were able to make an emergency appointment to get my mother in-laws cats their shots in order for them to move into their new place. I can't drive due to seizures and I'm on a limited income. Their clinic days saved my sanity and my "salary". Thank you very much for all your help.

An awesome staff. Found these two beautiful female Weimaraner lab mix dogs. They need a good home. They're scared and it may need a lot of work. But they will love you for it. Please check them out.

Put an add on Craigslist and only meet the person under safe conditions, like a public park with a friend
Yes, both I took my female cat if not in heat $65.00
No they dont
Contact the shelter and ask. Ask for Tammy.
I doubt an AC employee would risk losing their job by selling dogs on the side. For the sake of the dogs, I am glad they give their employees first pick. They are usually the best pet parents.
hello there there is an animal control officer present you can get a hold of them. At the same number. and if it's animal cruelty I suggest you do it you don't wait any longer.
Yes. Contact the shelter.
We have a grey tabby. Female, she's standoffish. Her name is Fire because she is a Spitfire
Missing black long haired cat white face gone about 10days spade female
Price is minimal, plus you can get 2 for 1.
Suggest Facebook group for dog or animal adoption and newspaper ad. After two weeks of that show proof to the shelter of trying to find a home and then may take your dog
You can put her up for re-home on Facebook (High Desert pet rehoming)
Yes their adorable
They hace at least one person in but the mouse its so laúd they never heard the phone ring you better show on person
Talk to your neighbors and ask them to control their dog, take the dog in when your in the yard or put a muzzle on it.
They do all that at hesperia animal shelter. It is right next door to the vet on Santa fe in hesperia. Hope this helps you.
Try to find the owner. Post found dog on Craigslist and Facebook, put up fliers. Dumping a dog or cat at the shelter is terribly traumatizing for the animals. Many will lash out in fear and be killed ...
I have found a dog that matches to your description please contact me through Facebook my name is Marianna Quinonez
$35 if it is not fixed and free if it is fixed. And if you fix the cat after you adopted the cat they refund you the $35
Have you tried looking up what to do with a bunny that can be aggressive? Is there a bunny Whisperer LOL? I think it would depend on how old the bunny is, and if it's possible to change its personality at this age. Do you know where the bunny came from? And what kind of treatment it's been through? And find out if it has trigger points? I would still be very patient and loving and find what his likes and dislikes are. Sorry I can't give any more of a definite answer than that.
You can surrender your cat with them, but they do charge a fee. My understanding is that the fee covers the cost of food, vet exam, any vaccinations it may need and getting the animal ready to be adopted.
When I click on the site it goes to the Hesperia animal shelter.
Not really but might need better training maybe for both. Good luck
I have 6 kittens 15 weeks old very healthy and clean. Blk/wht and grey/wht two male and four female. Message David Whiteman on Facebook. Thank you!
I did see some small dogs at both Hesperia shelter and Apple Valley shelter. Your chihuahua might be there. Or at Victorville Rescue. I've not gone there yet.
I would just to be safe because of the covid-19 thing, but I'm sure they would love to have them as well ☺️
we have 3 kittens that are coming into our pet door for food i have caught 2 of them waiting on catching the third let me know if you want 1
If you go on every other sat its only $10
Not sure you need to call them.
I believe it's 7 dollars a year also everybody's dog has to have all there shots in order get registered
Unknown charge...but if you say that you found a stray cat they will take it😳
Not as far as I know.I was never asked if I was a resident of hespera to have my cats spayed there.
This is a vet but when I had asked the Hesperia animal shelter they said they do not put animals down unless they are very ill but I was told this about a year ago.
Yes and than turn them loose in the general area they were found is what I heard them tell a young lady that brought in one she had caught in a catch alive trap and they DID return the trap back to her.
You would have to call.
The Pet Harbor website has all the animals available for adoption.
Good question, I don't know Charlie, and have no idea if Charlie got adopted.
They barely sell dog's the selection is so bad it's literally a waste of time and if you get one you pay over 300.00 really buy private your better off they do take care of dog's though he'll at those prices they better do them right not a overall bad facility just high dollar and poor selection I guess that's good for the dog's just not for humans
That a good guestion you better call for an accurate answer im not quite sure
You could but if she doesn't get adopted they will put her down try giving her away first I don't like that place personally
Google the shelter, and it will be on the information part
I don't know the law there
Yes, very low cost. If prices too low
It's best to call to get the right price for drop off. If you don't live in hesperia you can't drop them off here.
Yes, the adults are fixed unlike the kitten which will need to be brought back to be spay or fixed when old enough.
I'm not sure but I believed that you can volunteer only if you are over 18 and fill up an application, but please contact the shelter for more information
https://www.cityofhesperia.us/210/Volunteer
I would call around, ie the shelter or Hesperia animal hospital, they might want you to bring the husky in first. In HAH is $25 for office visit if you walk in and HAS is $30 you need to make an appointment. They can help and also give you information over the phone too. Best of luck to you and your husky.

Probably get a faster response if you call them
Sorry I can't read Spanish.? It is a great place to take stare animals. They have Veterinarian service's and u can adopt animals to. Before adoption they set up visits with u and the animal. Place is huge, clean, staff that care and r excellent at what the Do.
Please view adoptable pet online at www.PetHarbor.com. :)
Beagles and buddy are up in the high desert. Google their number and let them know about your fur baby
Hi Katherine, dog adoption fees are $80 and include spay/neuter, first set of shots, microchip and registration and free veterinarian checkup. You can view adoptable pets on the Hesperia Animal Shelter's page at www.PetHarbor.com.
Go to the shelter and see.
This is not a no kill shelter. They are a municipal, open entry shelter which means they have to take every animal that comes in. They do an absolutely incredible job caring for the homeless animals of Hesperia with the limited space and funding they receive. There are no "no kill" shelters in the high desert.
It will better if you call them directly. I paid $47 for my cat's annual vaccination, but it is not the same for dogs.
There are Guinea pig rescues that take them
Yes you can get them back but it's going to be a fee because if your dog was not neutered they're going to do it now and if your dog didn't have license for the year they're going to make you pay for those two so definitely be prepared to pay a fee
Call animal control
How old?
I'd call to find that out maybe during adoption days when they travel with the dogs
I don't think there is an age limit for placing an animal. They do ask for a donation for placement.
There are Rotteweiler Rescues.. google
Contact cat rescues.
www.petharbor.com. don't bet your pets life on the internet, please go into the shelter and check in person. Anything can happen. Go to the shelter in person.
Yes, they have special discount on Wednesday for shots, first come first serve.and also if you cannot afford to pay for neuter or spayed your pet, they give information to call pet lover organisation to help pay some of the fee to fix your pets, they are very nice people there, and Dr Connelly also very frendly and nice.I ve been going there for 7 years for my 4 dogs and 2 cats, even they are a little too far from home
Is the dog still there?
I don't know, but it's a nice place for your Pet's, great vet, and caring staff
Check with the city
You can go to Petco, Laurie is always there every Saturdays with dogs for adopted, the dog is fixed, and chipped, and shot, groomed, I foster a dog that I found lost, matting, hungry, and so dirty, no body claim him, and so god boy, till Laurie found a good home for Coco.you can ask her, because it's different fee depend on the dog, but it's worth it, because everything taken care.If you ask about Hesperia Animal Veteranian, they are not a shelter, only veterinarian, Doctor for animal, I always go there for 6 Years for my 4 dogs.and 2 cat.
It is illegal to own just about every breed of owl in the United States unless you have a proper permit. Such a permit is nearly impossible to obtain unless you are a wildlife refuge or some kind of special trainer.
Yes. Please volunteer there.
Send them copies of the Hesperia license paperwork for your dogs. If you moved out of their jurisdiction why are they asking? It seems odd.
Yes there is. They have their own animal control
When you adopt a dog is neutered or spayed vaccinated you just take it back to see how they are doing. They do not have a store for you to buy other items.
Call the place to find out.
You will have to call them and ask them
Call animals control r police officers r some times both work faster
They don't put old dogs to sleep, they also get a chance for adoption. I for one adopted a 10yr old from this shelter that had been waiting for a home. I've had him for 5yrs now and he's the most loving pet I've ever had.
Bring it back
Yes... No questions ask
Sounds like she's in heat again! Omg
Yes
They have some kind of a fundraiser coming next month but no freebie doggies. Give the a call.
I know they run specials on cats but the best thing to do is call them
I hope you find them! I will keep a look out for them. Keep checking all social media and shelters. .Good luck!
Decide offers
Yes we do
The Animal control could tell you or Hesperia Veterinary care
Call animal control and they will take it or you can take it yourself.
Not sure about kitties but my puppy was $60 for the spay. Shots are best to get at the clinic on Wednesday mornings. Show up at 8:00 am with kitty in a carrier.
No, now we have AlfenHundë. Call something else. Please, read a lot better! Do not you hear? American...
Not that i am aware of a lot of the animals are mixed
They might have occasionally, but they have other wonderful breeds to choose from that would make wonderful pets!
Yes but you get shot and micro chip and a leash for the fee 20 to 30 i think
When you have puppies most rescue groups would live to get them. They will place them into great homes. They screen all adopters and do background checks too. No reason to dump the puppies into a high kill shelter where they can too easily get parvo.
