Soooo... I volunteered for a week out of the kindness of my heart. One of the grandfathered elders kicked me out due to a personal reason, and let's me rest assured knowing it was cult related. May God be the witness of my heart, as they take their authority and abuse their power.

You havevto go early and wait in line to speak with a nurse they can give you an appointment but it is not dobe on site
They will but it's not on demand u will have a wait before u can live there. U are better off going to the ugm
You have to stay the night. They have new people line up at six and let you in at 8

Absolutely! You have to check for openings, but yes, that's what they are there for.Wonderful staff there!
Hello Janet, Thank you for your question. If patrons did not stay with us the night before, they could begin lining up for check-in at 5 pm. Check-in is typically run from 7p-8 pm. Standby folks get checked in and have access to our day resources the following day and days to come as long as they check-in by 8 pm every night, stay until 5 am, and follow the shelter rules. Please feel free to reach out to us directly at (509) 624-7821. Thank you!
No they don't, I think you want the UGM Union Gospel Mission they have a dedicated clinic zthough im not sure of their schedule. Cheers
Hello Sunniva, thank you for your message. Hope Hope provides supports and emergency shelter to women experiencing homelessness. You can reach them at (509) 217-7592.
They can leave a note on the board if he is staying there still he might see it or you can go to the gate at 630 to 730 they make everyone go outside for and hour at that time also 12 to 1 pm and 6 to 7 pm so he would most likely be in the court yard at those times if he is staying there

There is no housing I was homeless for 11/2 yrs told by everyone they could help with housing including hoc and snap and many others. I am paralyzed from my nipples down and use a manual wheelchair I became homeless after the place I rented for 17 1/2 years burned to the ground that's what brought me to the shelters in spokane. If you can walk it's probably do able . Respite at how is something helpful but as soon as you speak your mind about how its run they can give you 15 minutes to get your stuff and get out. Like they did to me. I let them know that I watched them tell every single person that came in to respite for the 2+ months I was there that they could help them with housing only in the end when their insurance runs out that they need the bed an0. .d they would need to move with all their things to the OTHER part of the shelter. Even though there was never more than half the beds in respite being used
What about the security guard that goes all over Spokane the one that is messing with homeless peoples minds
I have never made a donation to House of Charity.
You used to but I don't know anymore. Call and find out.
They do have a mail delivery/handout service within the building. If I remember right, mail can be picked up in the time they are open in the posted hours with the exception of Sunday.
It would be easier to talk to DSHS about that or go to Frontier if it is for mental health issues related to SSI determination.
You don't need much requirement at the house of charity. Just be there by 7 PM to get a bed. Also they don't reserve beds. But it is bed bug infested.
I called the House of Charity they do not help with transportation so to be corrected the House of Charity does not provide assistance for emergency transportation the Goodwill or the salvation army
Not sure bout 9 yr felony charges but assistance for those with income
I was there last year for school and I there 5 months for school and I don't see no bed begs at all and I am not going back spokane w. At all and I am Muncie ind . The H.O.C. does not give ID vouchers. I know, I work there.
My suggestion is bring your own and something to protect yourself with
When I was there over a year ago, the women slept in one area, very very tight, no storage so most used backpack as a pillow. I strapped my purse across my body as well to keep my things safe. There are rules, none unreasonable given the situation nor unfair iny opinion. I stayed over a month & though the public bathroms were closed for remodelling, I didn't experience any lice, bedbugs, viruses, etc. The staff seemed kind, even during daily unpleasant situations, the majority of the clients were okay given the varied issues. IOne rule that I thought important as per your belongings being safe- at the mid day closure for cleaning every must vacate and take their things with them. Anything left behind will be thrown out promptly. So find the fine line of weight you want to schlep around. β As a complete stranger I did not know of any relief agencies. It was over a week before I realized the staff at the desk have lists of extremely useful organizations. GO ASK ASAP so they can h
It is a homeless shelter. They do not offer that kind of assistance. And your question WASN'T stupid.
No children allowed because of sex offenders but women can eat there and i believe lunch is at 11am and they do not feed dinner but i have known of them to serve dinner like occasionally on certain days. UGM serves lunch and dinner and kids are welcomed there. Its located across from the social security building in the mens ugm shelter. They serve dinner at 6 not sure about lunch but if u give them a call they can answer more questions. I hope that helps hun have a great day.
