This organization will NOT do business with you (employment) if you are not established at a Christian faith church they recognize. Pretty sure that is called discrimination. Their mission statement and value sound pretty good on paper, but they will be moving forward without any of my personal or loved ones’ support from here on out. I thought a group like this would have been more accepting to help/work with others…..

I was there a month but 3 weeks of that month I was in covid-19 lock Down! Even though ever time they tested me I was covid negative ! They were treating me like a prisoner for no reason! There only exscues was. That I was scaring people because I jumped a 5 foot tall fence to check on my car! I would have went through the gate but they kept it locked . so I had no choice but to Jump the fence! That.car Was is a gift from some one very dear to me! They did not hardly give me a chance to get my life together some of the staff was very rude and disrespectful! I would never ever recommend the UGM to any one! Unless they ( mean in the owners and staff) really seek God and get there hearts right! And really stop and reflect and realize how they are treating people! Also. Ps not that it matters to them but I almost committed suicide that night they kicked me o this is how mad and hurt and deprest I was! I was already at a deep pit of hurt pain I did not need them to add more! I. Am going to. End here! Though I could say more! If you can help it stay as far away from UGM as you can! Ps they also lied to me several times they would say one thing one day. And they would say something ells the next. Like about weather I was getting out of. Isolation or corenteen. I am going to end here ! I will pray for them. And hope that God changes there heart but that is it !

I sent a text to Lori Holloway on Tuesday afternoon after dropping items off for the center, The reception from one of your staff was very unprofessional, she didn't greet us or say anything but just leave them outside. I was very put off by this, Kathy was always welcoming and friendly and this person was RUDE!!! Now, I have had no problem donating and helping these women and children with nice donations. But, if we are treated like we were treated I will NOT help any longer. This is NOT the way to treat anyone trying to help. I never had the chance to see this person or make any kinda of contact with her, except to hear what she said to my nephew. Unexceptionable and very unprofessional. I am a huge supporter of UGM, and I know many others are as well, but to be treated like our donations are not important I will give to other places. Very SAD, Gerri Allen

Lots of rules... So if you cannot follow curfew, and treat others with respect you will get booted. Staff is very helpful and supportive. Bedrooms are very clean, with fresh quilts provided weekly. Secure and drug free. I have seen a lot of people get kicked out for many reasons (making threats, cursing at staff, taking prescribed narcotics, entering someone elses room). 3 meals a day with salad bar at lunch and dinner... My only complaint is there are no bathtubs... If you are looking for a place where you have less rules try Open Doors... that place is a $#!+HOLE compared to UGM.

Ms. Adams you would need to call for availability and you must be drug free. You will be tested on arrival. When you call you will be given guidelines and that's pretty much it
They do random UAs and yes you go to the bathroom with someone
Sorry, just saw this. They go by daily beds available. The only way to find out is to call them. Have a blessed day.
Most of the time, yes. It depends on several factors. It would be best to call the Shelter directly at 509-535-0486. This page is monitored by the marketing department. Thank you!
Thank you Lyndee for thinking of our guests for Mother's Day! We would love for you to partner with us by providing a gift for each mom. Kimberly is correct that the number fluctuates daily, but a safe estimate for any given day would be 30 moms with kids. There are currently fewer, because we had several families move into our Recovery program at Anna Ogden Hall, but since Mother's Day is a month away still, our numbers will likely increase again by then. I hope that helps! Feel free to reach out again with more questions. Here, or by phone. Have a beautiful week!
I think so but you should call and ask them. (:
If they are under 18 they need a parent. Not sure about the student center that UGM runs. Crosswalk is a shelter for teens.
No hun...u don't have to have children. That place literally saved my life. U do need to call first and make sure they have a bed available. If u get in....please make the most of everything they have to offer!
Well you can always come to the men's shelter 1224 Trent Ave . They never run out of food
It is very illegal for Any Place to Ask for Documentation on a True Service Animal that falls within the Protected group of Service animals, and a dang companion pet isn't a service animal.
Yes. Logan Elementary
As long as they're still a minor, they can stay with you
There are a few requirements to get in. First, you must be a safe person. This means that both actions towards others should be safe as well as words. We want this to be a safe place. If in the past there was a time in which you were not safe during a stay, the shelter offers accountabiltity meetings. Secondly, you must be clean and sober. We do random drug testing and breathalyzer tests during your stay. Third, we require you are able to provide self care as well as work a two hour chore.
Only service animals. No pets
They always have openings
No
Aren't you on google right now...?
